Words of Wisdom from the New Book, Trump 101
Donald J. Trump, Chairman of Trump University, knows that success begins in your own mind. So as the year 2007 begins, I'd like to offer you his thoughts on success, taken from the pages of his new book, Trump 101.
--Ask yourself whether you're doing what you want and what is right for you.--
--Be positive every day. If you're not, no one will think you can succeed.--
--Believe in yourself, exude confidence, and get in your competitors' way. Project yourself into their picture and upset their status quo.--
--Break loose from your comfort zone by moving

This morning, it is my pleasure to invite you to become a Charter Member of The Trump Advantage Club. Like everything we offer at Trump University, it is unique, new, and extremely high in value.
We started developing the idea for The Trump Advantage Club more than a year ago when Donald J. Trump challenged us to build an exclusive club where members could learn the secrets of accruing significant wealth - but without restrictive membership fees or other obstacles that would keep people out.
Would the business model work? As we crunched the numbers and refined the concept, we discovered that it

Thank you for all the positive comments and feedback about the Trump Blog during 2006. Today I would like to return the favor by publishing a list of some of the most popular, most powerful Trump Blog postings of 2006.

I'd urge you to invest some exploring and clicking, because there is a lot for you here. (Please note that when you click on the name of the blog post you would like to read, it will open in a

We stand with our Chairman Donald J. Trump and his decision to pardon Tara Connor, Miss USA, after she broke pageant rules by partying too hard in New York City. As you know, his decision has caused white-hot controversy in the media and on this blog.
When you cut through all the media frenzy, it all comes down to one simple thing. Ms. Connor was a young woman who made bad decisions, and Donald J. Trump pardoned her and gave her another chance instead of stripping her of her title.
I'd like to cut through even more of the hype this morning, by

Some people were surprised when I announced that Miss USA Tara Conner was not going to be asked to step down from her position.Tara made quite a few headlines recently for some not-so-great behavior but I've always been a big believer in second chances. The fact is over my life I've had second chances. In fact, I've had lots of second chances in different ways and in different situations. That's actually why I decided to let her hold on to her title.Tara came from a small town in Kentucky and she got caught up - like so many people - in

Recently, I fought with the City Council in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, over a 70-foot flagpole with gorgeous American flag waving over my Trump National Golf Club. I thought it was the epitome of patriotism. Some people disagreed, but I won and the flag is flying high.
Now I'm having a similar disagreement with the city of Palm Beach over a gorgeous American flag on an 80-foot flagpole flying high over my Mar-a-Lago home and club. The city is complaining that I didn't have a permit.
You don't need a permit to put up the American flag. The day you need a permit

Trump University President Michael Sexton interviews EJ Ridings, President of Trump Mortgage
Most people refinance their homes when they need a large sum of money to install a new kitchen or pay college costs. But there are right and wrong ways to refinance, as we'll learn in the following conversation between Trump University President Michael Sexton and EJ Ridings, President of Trump Mortgage, one of the fastest-growing lending institutions today.
Michael Sexton: I just read an article that described homeowners who use their homes like --cash registers--

I've had some horrible bosses over the years. I bet have you have had some too. My personal life list includes a control freak, a classic bully and a "Jekyll and Hyde" lady who was my best friend one day and a screaming monster the next. Why did I put up with these people? Because I needed a paycheck and I couldn't just walk out the door. But I finally did escape. If I did it, you can too. Here are some strategies that can help you keep moving toward your own goals, even if your boss is a psychopath, a tyrant,

I've been a long-time supporter of college education. I think that a college degree puts you so far ahead in life that it's utterly necessary in today's competitive business world. Now the government released a report backing what I've said all along.According to the Census Bureau, a bachelor's degree is worth about $23,000 a year. That's the average gap in earnings between adults who graduated from college and those who just have high school diplomas.College graduates make an average of about $51,000 a year compared with only about $28,000 for people with just a high school diploma. High school dropouts, on the

Life-enhancing advice from the new book Trump 101
"There is only one thing I know, and that is I know nothing." - Socrates
Remain open to new ideas and information. Nobody knows it all and thinking that you do is dumb; it can slam the door on great discoveries and opportunities. If I had started in business thinking that I knew everything, I'd have been finished before I began. Don't make that mistake. Every business has surprises, hidden dangers beneath the surface, and simple problems that become complex.
In my life, I want each day to be full of discoveries, and I frequently

You can learn a lot in the school of hard knocks. But why would you want to enroll in the first place? Wouldn't it make more sense to make the best decisions on the first try? Of course it would, especially in real estate, where mistakes can be very costly indeed.
Take Robert, an enthusiastic young guy who enrolled in Trump University’s program in real estate investing earlier this year. Before he came to Trump University, Robert had gone to superhuman lengths to buy his first one-family fixer-upper. He borrowed money from his parents to make the down payment. He spent eight

I know we're a lawsuit-happy society, but now I've heard everything.
Some schools throughout the country are forbidding kids to play games like "tag" - anything that has them running around - because the kids might get hurt on the playground. And if the kids get hurt, their parents might turn around and sue the school for endangering their children.
This is ridiculous. Kids have to be kids. They can't just sit at their desks all day with their hands folded, looking at the blackboard.
When they go out to recess, children have to be allowed to run around and relax. They have to

Information you need today from Trump Mortgage
Of all the financial decisions you are facing today, which is the "make or break" one that will determine your financial security in the years ahead?
When I ask most people that question, the answers I usually hear are, "I better review my retirement accounts" or, "I have to pick the right place to retire."
Those are good answers. But if you want to guarantee your financial security in the decades to come, there is another critical decision that you have to make. You need to pick the right mortgage.
Of all the financial decisions that are on
