An exclusive look between the covers of our new book, Why We Want You to Be Rich

Why We Want You To Be Rich: Two Men, One Message describes a path to wealth that you won't find in other books. We'd like to share some of our unusual advice today on the Trump blog.

You Need to Live Well to Get Rich

Most financial authors advise people to live below their means. One actually recommends taking your daily cappuccino money and investing it in mutual funds instead. We don't like that advice. It means living below your means. We believe in expanding your means instead. The real path to riches is to live bigger by playing to win - but in smart ways so that you do win.

You Must Invest to Win

Most financial experts tell you that the whole point of investing is to play is so safe that you cannot lose money. Those experts have it wrong. They're not focusing on winning. They're focusing on not losing. And that is a very big difference. The key to getting rich is to invest so intelligently that you win consistently.

Making Money Should Be Fun

Instead of sticking with safe investments that don't excite you, grow rich by doing things that you really enjoy. Have fun. Become an entrepreneur and start your dream business. Invest in real estate. Make deals with interesting partners who can advance your interests. You'll learn and earn more by having fun than you will by being overly prudent. Plus, you will supercharge your desire to win and earn even more.

Remember, Higher Earnings Do Not Mean Higher Risk

Many people believe that investingis like gambling. The more you want to win, the more you have to risk, and the more you stand to lose. In our new book as in our lives, we have proven that nothing could be further from the truth. The key is to find smart ways to win big. We have done it. You can do it too. It is part of our new way to get rich.

We Africans are always out of the information line because of development issues. Where can I get copies of all your books Mr. Trump. I saw these 2 on Larry King Live and I couldn't believe it. The Trumpster hangin' out with RK? Yeesh. In that interview Trump wasn't looking too happy, I think he was attracted to RK's success with his Rich Dad books but I guess he didn't realize until it was too late, what an idiot RK really is.

Mr. Trump, if your work is your religion..
and it works that way you are in..
years ago I¨ve meet just a priest once in Roumania at the sacred place we have there, and just that person talked at me with that energy as yours and wich somehow I¨ve missinterpreted that time as being too hard.. it was an emotional shock for me that periode,3days for recovering for was needet :)
any how, it changed
just one bad rare habit I¨ve had that period, but now, after listening your insights that audioway I realize that
NOW more habits I¨ll need to change, from your 10 numbers presented, prefer to did¨t recognize the real %uality.
Look, it¨s sounds childish when recognize that meeting that priest with certain
¨seeker¨of the past and future capability¨s at the first eyesmeeting it was a deepshock for me and for years I could¨t forget his words regarding the final picture, it cost me strenght to follow his vision but deep inside I know and hoped that it will be not as he saw it for me in a very important aspect of my life.
Any how, I prefer to give me the chance to be a reverse tornado wich build my way everything possible, to grab that oportunity to be alive to learn more
and to work to strive for that REAL ME
wich perhaps is even 1st unknownparameter in the equation of my life.
To take full charge of my life in my hands and go forward with God bless.
just this, and if somehow my words are too personally, I will take good care in the future to avoid it happen again that way.
Thank you,

I am still so very glad I have found the Trump blogs and since this time have started saving every penny so I can take an online course and of course I'm eating up anything I can get my hands on. I was gonna enter into an enterpenuer course an eight week course but when I found I had no means without a few thousand dollars to do it I just inspired on all the free advice and lessons I can get a hold on like I'd been doing with learning certain programs on the pc. Well am happy to say I am taking to heart what I've been learning and can't get enough.

There's something about this I just don't like. Why are you co-authoring and why have you co-partnershiped anything? There's something about the book cover that just isn't right. What is it? It's a dangerous game being associated with anyone. Your reputation is on the line. Your integrity. Your honesty. The very core of your being. Who you are. What you stand for. I'm not sure why I'm saying all this. I wasn't going to comment anymore at all. I'm tired of it.

OPEN YOUR SOUL TO THE DEEP POSSIBILITIES ONE DAY I KNOW I WILL MEET DT AND RY AND TELL THEM MY STORY PERSONALLY. THANK YOU BOTH FOR SHARING YOUR SECRETS AND YOUR MINDSET WITH ALL OF US.

I can't wait for this one. I've been waiting for about 1 month now. Both are great authors and have been my teachers and mentors about real estate and life for a long time now. This will be a "must read" book. I know this from their previous books. I'm going to start reading this one in a couple of days. Thank you Mr. Trump & Mr. Kiyosaki for all the help & information you have given me. Both of you have been my break through for self-development & my very best future!!
Good luck to everyone & may all your deals go well! Steve

Success comes from taking risks. Business leaders didn't just have their empires fall into their laps! They love what they do and took a leap of faith. This applies to your personal and business lifestyle. These two business giants still love what they do and they just happen to profit from it-very large profits.
[-] Posted by vatoDETH on 10/19/2006 8:59 PM
I agree with not being cheap to get ahead in life. Living the life of a miser is not the way to go at all! We only live once and you need to live a healthy and fun life.

You can pend money wisely, without going broke. I always look for great online deals and wait for technology to drop in price.

I love technology and there is no way I am going to live in the dark ages to get ahead. My career choices and interests are technology. For me to get ahead I need to have the toys. They're not just toys, but learning tools and I am learning how to use them to make more money every day!

When you spend $5000 on a plasma screen television, you have to ask yourself what it will be worth in 5 years. Now imagine if you spent that money on some tools and equipment to start up a small busines. In those next 5 years, how much money would you have made? How much more would your business have grown?

Make a smart investment! Make more money and you will be able to afford the life you want to live! Why live a frugal, boring, miserable life hording pennies to get rich, when you can go out and make things happen? If you want to be rich, enjoy life, start a business, make more money! Unless sitting at home in the dark counting pennies under candle light is your idea of fun.

Hmm, interesting. I don't know what kind of joint venture or partnership is this. Maybe in the short-term, Trump and Kiyosaki as co-authors of a book may generate more publicity, thus more books sold. But beyond that? The way I see it, Mr. Trump does not need to go this route. He is already very well-established on his own and does not need to share the limelight with someone else.

I'm about halfway through this book, and I have to say that what strikes me the most is that I get the impression that you both genuinely would like to see me get rich. It's simply written without flash, and it seems that you're asking us to evaluate how we want to live; with a safe mindset, or a rich man's mindset. I've always enjoyed Trump's bravado, and he has always struck me -- even prior to this book -- as someone who's having a great, yet lucrative, time doing business. I suspect this book is just one more example of that.

Graham- The reason why I said "FYI: The stock market works on the same principles as slot machines." - I was making a strict mathematical observation based upon my work analyzing how slot machines work combined with math I created to analyze art and movies and such for the purposes of troubleshooting to create a new math to analyze the stock market for the purposes of buying and trading to maximize probablility of profit while minimizing the probability of loss. Making money is hard. YAWN.

Do I scare you?

Trump should humble out a little and show the world how he is going to turn his casinos around. He is a genius when it comes to NYC real estate yet the NJ casino market is an area that he has not conquered. No one is perfect and he is only human, yet his whole marketing of books and seminars makes him look cheesy and just another "guru" making fortunes off motivational talk.
[-] Posted by jme4538 on 10/23/2006 1:37 AM
A big myth about Trump is that he created all his wealth himself. The bottom line is in order to really hit big you have to have enough collateral to weather the loss. What people forget about W. Buffet is the way he made his money is he used his business as collateral and invested wisely. Donald Trump did the same thing. He started out in building and was already working for his father, a builder, for years growing up, before he did his first project where he walked away with a million or so. But let's face it, he had to get the money from somewhere to fund the project (DADDY) and he had to have the connections (DADDY) to get started and get his foot in the door. And he's a white male with a college degree in something business related. So to say like he did this all on his own is simply not true. Yes he did make consistently wise business decisions but he also had the connnections and base collateral and background to make that work. And how different would things be if he had been female and not grown up in the construction business?

As for me, I'm a female who looks like strippers and prostitutes that many businessmen shell out good money to abuse and whose parents stepped on her dreams consistently from day one. So the idea that some business man is going to take a business plan I came up with seriously is a joke. Some of us did not grow up in a home where mommy and daddy encouraged and supported our ambitions. Some of us grew up in an environment where we were kicked in the face

Wow! I hope jme4538 will take a deep breath and realize that she's in charge of her future instead of using the past as an excuse not to move along. I'm female, too, and had a few of the same issues as jme4538. All I can say is that self-help is really the only kind of help that "sticks" long-term. It'll no doubt take some major life changes - maybe even moving to a new place and starting over. But there's no doubt she can be successful if she's open to the idea that it's possible and she lets go of some of the anger. As start? If she looks like a stripper - as she says she does in her comments - start looking at photos of successful women in business to see what they look like and make herself look like they do. It's a small start to becoming/feeling like a successful business person. Then start looking at the behaviors of successful people and begin to emulate them. I suggest she gets "The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People"

I started reading both men's books when I was broke. Tried some of their techniques, changed my mindset, worked through faithfully, and had times of confusion-frustration-"Will I ever get there". Yes, there were times I felt really beat, and what they say was bunch of hocus-pocus. Well, it has been a few years, and I am now a millionaire. Cannot say I am finally free yet, and when I re-read their work recently, many things in their books have turned out to be true. The emotional roller-coaster, the mistakes we make while investing, cashlfows vs leverage, tax issues... I guess one reallt have to read with a opened mind and expand one's context. It all begins with your mind...really. I can tell you it is true, becuase I have made it! Trust me.

When do I invest in fuel tech stock or should it be in Chevron? Both will be making a changeover and I think feul tech is a short lived increase. GE stock is another that has hit a peak because it hasn't been able to establish a free market in the Far East. All they have to do is find out that their electircal technology can be enterprised at a cheaper rate then what it is going for there. And you thought I was dumb? THE MED technology is also not universal. Companies like thiers corner the market. Even though medical treatments are socialized the population in European companies need it. Why does the Middle East concentrate on so few items of trade. No I am not a damn terrorist. My family came over on the Mayflower. This democracy in the Middle East is costing our country a fortune. How could they be thinking of ethnocleansing for ownership. Is that all they are gleaning from governments? I wish I could tell those idiots that the dictator in North Korea came from Russia as well. I am Ukranian. Why did our government fund his troops, are we honestly getting our moneys worth of promises. I hope China takes them over, but it's a pverty problem. The Population is too high. Can you please tell me that they were looking for a country union before I thought it. China is at a different form of socialism. One thought one mind does not ensure inginuity it is more adaptive as Caroyln said. And in the world of technology I think an Einstein again truthfully would hold to the idea that the idea is a single man's creation. I really think he was misunderstood. Pure Science is nature not nurture. Do you really believe in intrusive behavior? I do. I belive he succumbed to socialism because no matter what he did they didn't understand. He was in constant disagreement with his surroundings. I wish he were still alive, he would tell you bombing is an excuse. But even now after ethnocleansing, I am questioning where they are getting their information from. Poor Germans and Middle Eastern Europeans. And

so many books, seminars to go and not one show you how. Only our company! we sell nothing and we coach every step of the way. We made so many people from one home to multiple properties, from renting to homeowner and they help others thru experience learning from us. Of course, you got to have something, at least some equity, or no down but a good job, good credit, good source of income and nothing is overnight. It takes time but we helped so many not rich like DT or RK but financial independent and a confortable retirement.

I quiet agree with jme4538. You have to be born surrounded with wealth and connections in order to succeed. I bet even when Donald was a small boy a lot of people in builder's world knew who he was. So when he grew up success was expected of him, and perhaps even guaranteed eventually. And indeed people were more tend to listen what he has to say and offer. It's obvious that he is a really smart guy, but connections is a necessary ingredient of success. Let's say, no builder is going to listen what I have to say.... It's already tried and tested. I've wrote a letter to a builder just asking for permision to advertise their new construction on my website. I am a Realtor. Nobody ever even contacted me with any answer. So imagine what would happen if I tried to approach them with any other idea? I know what - nothing!People like me just don't exist to those big shots. All they do for us is writing books so we can buy them in desperation of making some buck and hope that there is new and easy solution. And they make some more money off us, just because we buy those books. I think I've red all of the books

To Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki;
You guys look great in this photo. Dare I say like a billion a million night be peanuts !)
To Jim
Although Trump may have had investors in place whether it were his father, (at possibly, a low rate, or some other entity before beginning his project)- we all must start somewhere. Sometimes money costs you little or nothing other times it costs you big. That's where to smart decisions and time comes in. I have yet to read many of the articles in these blogs and have been investing in R.E. for over a dozen years, so I am enjoying the fact, that these articles are letting people know- they should have a plan and all or most, of the preliminaries lined up. Just because you must dream big, there are always small steps involved, in any process, to get to the Big picture. Often times more than others. Best wishes to you in your journeys!

I believe the one thing DADDY did for Trump was give him a great beginning and education in real estate. However, that's as far as it goes. I've heard for years that what you are saying is true from many observing Americans. And I've no doubt for Trumps kids, Daddy was the source of their investment beginnings in wise real estate. That aside, Trump himself, if you read in detail how he did what he did, Trump's DADDY wasn't the reason why Trump got to where Trump is at today, and his DADDY isn't why Trump was where he was at in the 1980s. Trump got Trump to where he is at, and where he was at back then. He's probably the most brilliant business mind I've ever come across in my 16 years in the work force. And I have paid attention throughout those 16 years to how the businesses I've worked for, and others in America, are run

Ms. jme4538 beginnings are just that, beginnings. Andrew Carnegie BEGAN as a weaver in a mill to support his family. John Rockefeller's father was a "philanderer and bigamist." It has been said that as a child he even had to wear some of his siblings clothing, his SISTER's dresses. He BEGAN as an apprentice bookkeeper. Please also learn a little about Hettie Green. She may have inherited some money but for her to make it grow the way that she did in a time when women had not rights. And top that off with the fact that she didn't care what anyone thought about how she looked or the fact that she was a woman in a man's world. What I am saying is, give yourself more credit. Realize that, despite all the negativity in your comments about your perspective of your life, you had the galls to voice your opinion. That says to me that you know what you can be. It says to me that deep down inside of you, it is begging, no screaming to come out. Keep on searching and digging and free yourself. Free your TRUE self

Very motivating book. Though, I need the expalantion from Mr. Trump on the fact he has stated on page 54 of this book and I am quoting "The first Starbucks opened in China two years ago. There are now more Starbucks in China than in the United States." Can Mr. Trump provide the source to confirm this fact?

Trump has shown he's got what it takes, so I don't really care where he got his wealth. There are a lot of people who are born into big money but that's it.

Kiyosaki on the other hand? This guy is a big joke. I read his Rich Dad Poor Dad book and I couldn't believe it was a best seller. I mean really, I can't believe anyone looks up to this guy.

I must commend this book!!! In 2000, At age 16 I became a teen-mother, therefore my career aspirations were clouded and haulted for a moment. In 2007, At the age of 22, the drive to succeed began to remanifest it's self. I searched all avenues on how to develope better leadership qualities such being a listener instead of dictating all the time, how to know what to choose to persue when it is in hot persuit amoung other euntrepenureship characters. All avenues lead me to your book. The words my goals and your book had in common were wealth, success, self sufficiency, investor, teacher, learner, skills, wittz. Coming from the Bahamas very little is inforced in us from childhood to learn how to become an investor, instead we are lead as far as becoming small business owners. In al, my point is, your book "Why we want You to be Rich", to me, it was like uncovering the best kept secret. Now the heat is on to learn. My resources are limited, but through the books "Rich dad, Poor dad & "Why We Want You to be rich", I've learnt how to make those resources work for me. My reason for joining this site is dued to the fact that I want to be apart of the investors category on the qudrant. Until I accumulate the funds to go to the financial education institution of recommendation, I will use all the resources given to me freely so that when I get there I'm at the least fimiliarized with certain topics and terms. Sincere Thank You to Mr. Trump, Mr. Kiyosaki and other like minds that are sounding the alarm to the world about the importance of self wealth. You are surely blessed for being teachers of the truth!!

I'm feeling you those books are really great, and I love "The Art of The Come Back" Mr. trump is not as uptight as I thought him to be from watching the apprentice, and I realize by reading his books that part of his "deal makings" have to do with his "gut", I go to church and i've learnt that what we referr to as our "gut-feeling" is really wisdom!! Im smiling to know that the man is rich and he's wise, a true biblical leader! I cant wait until he's my Teacher,( a girl can dream can't she!! LOL!!) Seriously It will be an honor to have him or someone of like mind educate me!

Loving this site all the way From
