Lots of people have been asking me why I took such a harsh stand on Rosie O'Donnell.
I own the Miss USA pageant and had a Miss USA who is a very lovely girl, Tara Conner.
She had some problems because she was drinking too much. It was causing lots of difficulties but I decided to give Tara a second chance. She's right now in rehab and she's doing fine.
Rosie O'Donnell, however, didn't like that I gave Tara a second chance. She went on television and the venom came pouring out. A friend of mine called and said, --Boy does she hate you.--
I've known Rosie for a long time. She's been a loser. Her television show got bad ratings and she was fired. Her magazine was a total disaster and in fact, the publisher of the company, who was a rising star, ended up losing his job. She also did a Broadway play that was a total mess.
She's unattractive both outside and inside. You don't get worse than Rosie. She's been bullying people for a long time. And I'm the only one who fought back.
As far as I'm concerned, you don't get any lower than Rosie O'Donnell.

And Lastly - Exactly how many charities have you contributed to MR. Trump, I doubt as many as Rosie.
I have always respected you but as of late, find myself questioning your ethics. I am not a big fan of Rosie's, but am personally offended
Trump can't be all bad, he has been married to smart, beautiful women, he has incredibly smart and beautiful children and he is very successful and highly respected. Maybe he isn't a poster child for absolute morality but he is a mentor for countless young people looking for success and he is quite generous with his projects. He may benefit from the Miss USA deal and The Apprentice but both venues also also give an opportunity for other people to find success. What doors has Rosie opened? Instead of criticism, perhaps we should just say , "Thank you".
It's time Rosie got back exactly what she has been giving out at from her View ivory tower. Also, you are absolutely right when you insist that Tara maintain some sort of decorum while she is representing the title of Miss USA. Ever notice how Rosie defends all kinds of behavior? Could it be because she is a degenerate herself???
I understand that you are defending the values of the Miss America brand. At the same time, this doesn't really work for your image. You might have exhibited a powerful demeanor

But lets be honest here Rosie HAS gave money to people and spent time working with some great groups. This does make it right for her to act in such a way as she has since joining The View. Her actions and thoughts have been on edge. Rosie has been looking for a fight and when she turned over the stone on Trump's side she found it.
The trouble is people like Rosie just start fires and walk away. Rosie claims to have dropped the matter but continues to mock and push the envelope. People like this leech off the scandal. Did Rosie apologize when she made claims to about Kelly Ripa?? I sure didn't see it. I always see Barbara Walters doing the job of damage control when it comes to Rosie. Rosie is a lot of things but she is also very lucky. She has the fortune of being able to start these things and claim the rewards while others have to watch what they say.
People are generalizing what was said. Donald Trump does not hate fat people or women. It is simple...Rosie made comments about his character, so Trump returned the favor...Rosie made fun of his appearance..
Trump returned the favor, except Trump does not do comedy, he does real world buisiness so the return fire was serious.
Rosie made false claims about Trump's bankruptcy.....Trump made true claims about Rosie's failures.
The fight is level based, Trump worked for his money.
The only thing that makes me mad about Rosie is that I really wish I had some of the chances she has gotten and has had.
That my friend is the big thing. To have a chance at acting or directing is a dream and I think Rosie has lost touch a bit.
To dreamers like me it is hard to watch someone sink to a level like that.
Trump is defending his hard work.
For that, you cannot blame anyone.

You were my hero and although I believe you to be one of the most brilliant business men there is in the world, I am saddened about the feud with Rosie.
I was a little shocked when she made the comments she did because it was against one of my heroes, but I chalked it up to it being her line of work, her personality and in fact her lively hood. It didn't really hurt you. It was almost funny to me and probably funny to a lot of her fans.
However when you made very personal and public comments that were, in my opinion, aimed at getting in the lowest blow, it was too much for me. You mentioned her physical appearance, you mentioned her girlfriend, and you mentioned her intelligence. Wow, you sounded like one of the apprentices you would have fired yourself.
One of the reasons I liked you was your no nonsense way of looking at things. I always thought you to be fair and unbiased, now with the low blows you threw while you were upset, I think you may have let your real personality show and it's disappointing.

I agree with you in principle but this is a waste of your valuable time. If you're going to go after a celebrity, go after one with an empire like Oprah or Mark Cuban, or Michael Jackson... well maybe not Michael. Go after someone you can bring to ruin, not one who has already achieved it ! Anyway, I have an idea for a line of musical products, but I need a brand, like TRUMP, to market it right. I am so glad Mr. Trump stood up to Ms. O'Donnell's incessant bullying. He is the first person besides Star Jones Reynalds in recent months that have stepped up to confront her unbelievable vicious attacks on others. Just because someone is famous, does not make it okay to make fun of various events in their lives, hairstyle or whatever.
I for one am sick and tired of Ms. O'Donnell's remarks. I am deeply disappointed that she has been allowed to continue her forum of abuse and persecution on The View. I cannot understand why it seems The View sees Ms. O'Donnell as the victim in these conflicts. She is not the victim she is the instigator. She will continue to humiliate and mock people as long as it is accepted

I've been an avid watcher of the apprentice and still would like to be ... but please, get Carolyn back. One sharp tongued Trump is all most of us can handle.
They are BOTH adults and what comes out of each of their mouths is their reponsibilty.
No one, but no one has mentioned the word "responsilble"...
My mother ALWAYS told me that what comes out of your mouth...can NEVER be put back in, so, make sure that you are are RESPONSIBLE for what you say.

What I care about is how the kids in schools around the country are going to react.

You know, I too never cared much about either one of you until you brought yourself to my attention. Since I am someone who likes to do research, I found some interesting comparisons between the two of you.
As a man who inherited great wealth from his rich daddy, where exactly have you ever had to really prove yourself or had to overcome true hardship?
Rosie was a foster kid who remained in the system her entire childhood - she raised herself up to where she is today; she is an equal participant with her loving partner of 10 years (when is the last time you've been with anyone for 10 years?) in raising four children (Rosie writes time off to help with the kids into her contracts); Rosie gives not only money, but a great deal of her life to charitable work with children (I believe that The Smoking Gun revealed documents that showed you to be about the stingiest billionaire ever); Rosie also involves herself in activities which promote unity and tolerance.
Come to think of it, Rosie is pretty much a winner in every area that counts...and in every area where you've been a miserable failure.
You're on a roll....don't stop with her..there are others out there just like her who need to be put in their place. This world should not live

I would not waste my time even responding back to Rosie. She and all the woman on that dorkie show are a waste of energy. Who in their right mind would watch such a show anyways...when 4 individuals constantly talk at the same time. Their foolish commentary would drive anyone nuts. Rosie's obesity, potty mouth & immoral lifestyle has nothing to do with this.....she is just a rude individual with an inflated ego. Just put her on ignore!
However, all that being said, I think that your public criticism of these two women is diminishing your stature and makes you look freakish. It's not that you are making statements publicly, but you appear to be at war. I find that it doesn't become you, because you should be maintaining an "untouchable" persona. Clearly, you have been touched and Rosie is under your skin in a big way.

I don't know, Donald, it wreaks of negative attention stabs at ratings before the new season. Barbara Walters probably did say everything you said, but your revealing it made her distance herself from you for self-preservation. She should have put the kabosh on Rosie responding to you on the View, however. Since Barbara can't control Rosie, my opinion of her has diminished also.

I've just finished your book, "The America We Deserve". Very impressed. Why did it take so long for me to read it? I guess I've been preoccupied. Anyway, it was great and I would agree with most everything you had to say. Now the question is, you can talk the talk, but can you walk the the walk? You said you would and could run for president. All I hear these days is another pundant signing up to "explore" the run. My advice to you is get out there and run. I don't think you'd be surprised at how many people are looking for a savior.

I will agree with one thing. Mr. Trump, at this point it would serve you best to not say another thing. Let Rosie dig a hole and you can site quietly away from the edge, and lelt her look for her own way out. And not drag you into the hole and climb out
So "Rosie, The Riveter" is at it again . . . and the Allies have sent their planes skyward to meet the threat of "The View's" Red Barron. Even her acting in "Sleepless in Seattle" was unimpressive and nearly forgotten. When will it end?? I think your a very intelligent man. You have lowered yourself to Rosie's standards with your verbal bashing. This is very easy to do when someone is attacking your character--believe me I know from personal experience. I too, thought you should have fired Miss USA, but after reading your reasoning I have had second thoughts on that as well. I love your show the apprentice and even though family in business self owned or otherwise can pose a conflict of interest and a whole issue around business ethics, I think your daughter is very bright and possess'alot of your characteristics.

Rosie was very nice to her other guests, but was very rude and nasty to Thomas Sellick (Magnum P.I. star in Hawaii)simply because he was a member of the National Rifle Association, as are about 4 million other citizens.Rosie would like to ban as many guns as possible, except for her bodyguards. As far as Tara, Mr. Trump had every right to give her a second chance...don't we all wish we had that. Rosie has been given chance after chance, and she still fails. But I entirely oppose to give someone like a "beauty queen" a second chance, a person, who supposed to be someone showing and having exclusive qualities and intelligence to pair with. Consequently, the reason of an argument came up on the subject, shows that Tara's qualities are not up to the standard to carry a crown of a beauty queen, as she is supposed to be an ambassador to how other young women should appoint themselves to carry a torch to be a beauty queen. Being the financier of this project, you had to have the upper hand, Rosie had been out of her territory here anyhow, made it worse for herself, and of course for Tara, as the beauty queen's sobriety got blowwn out of proportion worldwide. (Although there are a lots of famous people there, who are good company, but they had done some of there good ambassadorship before they got there) Her job can not be done to it's full capacity in there. The reason I am writing this letter is because Tara Conner deserves a second chance matter fact everyone in America deserves a second chance when they fall from grace.
My pageant experience started in the late eighties with the Dick Clark Junior Show, then to the Elite Petite Pageants in Houston, Texas to the Freeman Production in Orlando, Texas late titled held was Ms. Texas Woman 2003.
It is wonderful that Tara Conner detected early that she had a drinking problem and through rebabilitation I am sure she will work everything out just fine and resume her normal active life style. We are all human beings and as hard as we try to be perfect we finally come to the realization that we are not and must do the best we can for eachother to make it and survive in this world. That was very nice of you to give Tara Conner a second chance because most of us in this tough world never get one.
I appreciate your stand in allowing Tara a second chance; although I do not believe she understood the initial responsibility of the role. Tara seems to want to live up to it now. Hopefully she will be able to come to a sound resolve for herself, get clarity of the importance and move forward to be an outstanding role model. As for Rosie, no comment necessary the obvious has been sadly, nationally televised. In my opinion, the choice is very unfortunate for The View and depletes its class and stature in network ratings.
As for YOUR show, I'm a real estate sales associate in NJ and never miss an episode! The Apprentice is brilliant and entertaining; and your daughter is quite refreshing and obviously intelligent in her own right. People in general, usually pave the path they ultimately end up in. As for "letting it go"...I watched Mr. Trump on Regis and Kelly. He spoke not a word about bully Rosie. However, I did hear that on the view..the same day..big mouth Rosie was at it again. The sad thing about expressing your opinion is no matter how it comes out, once said, it couldn't be taken back. Much like the expression you can't un-ring a bell. As a teenager I read - The Art of the Deal - and although we have never met you became my teacher. I have never stopped learning from you. I became very angry after hearing of Rosie's comments. I thought she would be sued and we would never hear of it again. Then you responded. I can not express my utter disappointment in how you came across. It was truly painful to watch. Before watching 'The Apprentice',I figured you were a pompous ass. Then, as I watched the show, I grew to respect your morals and what you valued in your employees and in life in general. However, in light of this feud with Mrs. O'Donnell, I regret to say that my initial view of you is true. Sir, you are a pompous ass. Where is your class? You stooped lower then Rosie ever could proving that you, Mr. Trump, are the loser in this scenario. One would think that your upbringing would have taught you better then calling people shallow names and throwing around insults. Loved the letter to Rosie. I haven't been able to watch The Apprentice often, but caught the start of the LA show. I have a lot of friends who are professors and attorneys, and they are great professors and attorneys - Martin is one of those guys. I really liked that call.
My lovely wife(you would agree) said I should audition for the show(numerous times over the last few years). When is the next gig?

I never really did like Rosie that much but after her TV show flopped and she was seen on the news so many times with her mouth just a flapping, I lost any respect that I had for her (ok so there wasn't really that much to lose).
When Barbara Walters hired Rosie on at "The view" I told my husband that it was only a matter of time before "The View" would be canceled.
