When you think of becoming an entrepreneur, you probably think about all the hard work it will take. Hopefully you also envision all the benefits, such as wealth, freedom, and a sense of personal accomplishment and significance that comes along with owning your own business.

But have you also thought about how efficient an entrepreneurship really is? If not, think about these benefits.

  • Time leveraging. All the time you invest in your business is directed at building your own wealth and resources. No more sitting in meetings working on projects that have nothing to do with your own goals. No more killing yourself to make money for the company you work for, not for yourself. When you own a company, your work benefits you. That is simply a more efficient way to generate wealth.
  • Capital growth. The profits you generate get rolled back into building your own enterprise, not someone else’s. It’s like getting interest on your interest instead of throwing your money away.
  • Smarter, more committed colleagues. You no longer have to spend years working with people whose inefficiency drives you mad, because you are in control.
  • A wide range of financial options. You enjoy tax deductions, depreciation of equipment and other benefits that you cannot take advantage of when you are working for someone else.

Of course, becoming an entrepreneur is challenging. There are risks. But would you rather control your own destiny, or have someone else control it for you?

The answer to that question is obvious. When you are ready to take the next step, Trump University is here to help. Our Entrepreneurship Mastery Program is a great way to minimize risk and start a thriving enterprise of your own.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been self employed since
1070. I have all the advantages you named, plus many others.
Thank you for your timely articles.

Thought it would be cool to be the first to respond. I personally have made myself into an expert of failing at business rather than being successful at it. I think one of the main reasons is that I would try someone elses idea, such as an MLM or "turn key" type of start up business, rather than creating something of my own. Now, I'm currently working on my own gig, a T-shirt company, with my own logo and catch phrase. Hopfully this takes off. Maybe I'll be as big as "No Fear" or "Skin." We'll see.

I have been in business for myself for over twenty years. All the benefits are available plus some. However it has taken 18 years to figure out that all I had was a job. I am now trying to work more ON my business than IN my business. I need to create wealth not riches.
This is the toughest thing I have had to learn. Taking risk and stress is easy, but turning things over to qualified people is very hard to do. I don't want a job, I want the freedom that my own business can provide. I am going to control my own future and you can too!

Your ideas are correct and the article is inspiring. For those who cannot start their own companies yet, there are ways they can work for themselves on the side. Selling items online is one example.

Great article.

Starting a business can be rewarding both financially and emotionally.

Before jumping in, get educated, not only in your field but in business in general.

Learn about health insurance, taxes, and retirement savings.

Its never too late.

Good luck!!

There is nothing like being your own boss-you decide how far and successful you'd like to go. I am currently an employee/student in South Africa who is saving up to start my own business. I'm looking for any like-minded/business-minded people in China to contact me for friendship. My email address is redhotopportunities@hotmail.com
Mr Trump-you are my hero and the person who i want to model myself on. Thank you!!
