Call for course information
We’ve all heard the saying “connect the dots.” I see it as having enough knowledge to be able to connect the dots in a reasonable and informed way.
In a conversation I was having a few years ago, one guy mentioned that the Trump name had become a famous brand around the world. Then he added, “What’s in a name?” and sort of laughed and then said to me, “In your case, a lot!”
I noticed that another man seemed out of the loop about the quip. So I said “That’s Shakespeare. ‘What’s in a name’ is a famous line from Shakespeare.” So he still looked perplexed and asked “From what?” And although I knew it was from Romeo and Juliet, I said, “Look it up. You might learn some interesting things along the way.”
I’m not proposing that you spend years studying Shakespeare, but a topical knowledge of certain things will greatly enhance your capabilities of dealing in the major leagues with people who are well educated in a variety of subjects. Don’t be left out! Take a few hours a week to review the classics in literature, or history, or something outside of your usual range of interests. Limiting yourself is not the best choice.
Many topics come up in the course of a business discussion or interview, and while we can’t know everything, we should know as much as we can.

the fine line between war and development , thissame foundation as Mount Temple(springs beneath) sustain the 2 different path of love in once...hmm, I love the story*s with happy end and if Mr.Shakespeare
impressed generations with the story, well, i still believe that brothers love will burt springs for they*re fields, God does it 40 years in the desert for his people and the hard way God tested they*re believe and correct it, well, no other brother from the 12 may be able to do it harder.
Are things we learn to accept and let free the waters to wash the bads and green the fields of a new spring era of the 21 century.
What happend there represent us all, everysingle person may reflect somehowat small or large scale into the history of Middle East, we must see it read it and understand that our fifht surelly did*t serve us as much pressure we put in from no matter how many parts...is something above and if we care to prevent that His Judgement reach us, better make peace when He joined ALL of us in front of that conflagration which we still able to prevent than cure it by a development as Summit. Here is not anymore about the resources and religions or whatever, is simply on line: to be or not to be LOVE on the Earth? The Sacred one respecting His Words! like: love believe endure forgive cover everything,
asked myself why by weddings he grains where trowed to the spouses,
abundancy of bread on the table which depend on the rain too to feed the fields..hmm, Temple of Mount had inside the waters refusing to flow when hate and wars prevails...It start everything with that peace with God with ourself as he asked to let come by him each and every one, to find the answers to know his name his law his Blessings. Jews anciand has 12 wise priests and muslim religion I did*t know much about but if have also 12 wise priests to care and counsel his souls than one foundation in stone as wrotten Word in teh Moses Tables
is enough to wash the bads and forgive it all like never happened!
what a future we decide for our sons? love in God Law or kill in war
at least just take a look and imagine that each and everyone of us will join above that Mount in silence we splitt ourself arround that location, who we are to decide or questioning the evidence of the times we live into? How many generations the God word mean to educate people at first to copy the word and transmit it further, well, people start wars in his name, that was perhaps the Jesus sacrifice, ONE for ALL, well, that time is the time of ALL for ONE TEMPLE ; like it or not here is not to look at the half cup or balance, LOVE is just the way it is. starting from atomium molecules to the gravity exact law well, to create values in our society, impressed me Deuteronomium asking: what make a human happy? that the bless of a familly is in God hands, thissame nations.
is everything wrotten from soo many years, wonderfull His lOVE TO SUPPORT US ALL, and incredible what a struggle of 1.400wars in the Middle East, isn*t?is wrotten all from wars to law to the real details about the pray each and every detail humans may know to protect by suffering, we must change something, the way we build inside that if foundation is not solid to the distroy is just time.is time to change and to obey to ensure that the childrens of our childrens will not have anymore *sacrifice* generations to know, but a creation based on God Love, look at Stars and Heavens and Earth, may we ever able to Create Like Kind? As soo many planets are created, and us too, is amazing that He wait us to accept his Plans for us to be part of that solid foundation of love as spring as life itself, at least: to be or to be part of Sacred Love to build further secure future to our childrens? as each child is bless of God with His seed inside which must to develop on the Earth. Mr. Trump,my words are fade in front of your attitude and labour in that field.Between Earth and Heaven foundation to build.Thank you,Dana
I loved reading Macbeth.
I loved following Old English.
When I read the Bible, and I have many times through, my favorite version was King James (old english).
However, I don't read the bible anymore and don't really plan on it.
It's been many years and my recollection of Shakespeare has faded.
I guess a renewal is in order. Maybe.
By the way
I love connect the dots.

i learn a lot so i can fit-into a group, so people can benifit from the knowledge that I know.
I admire people that take the time to learn things, and i adore people that like to teach.
about the importancy to care a good name, as a treasure, how many succeed it to do it?! :) Bible insights again and more:
It is also used in the Bible, Corinthians 15:56 (King James Version):
*In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.*
Hmm, the Change by itself may be a easy step or not but as long the commitment to do it for the better, is a step forward.
To print a name into a global brand of quality is gorgeous! it remain just a half planet to be touched and reached by your name!
making the difference in they*re life, why not? if you Mr. Trump will not start to move it forward, who than as from soo long hmm..,
to create that Blue Diamond..plann do act, and help them.
You can do it Mr. Trump, and I know how, deal?!
Thank you in advance.
Have a great day,
Daniela
On this particular topic, more than the majority of comments have nothing to do with the topic. That is ignoring the fact that most of those comments are impossible to understand.
A world reknown businessman creates a blog and that's all he can get on it? I'd be interested to understand why...
Donald you've played absentee landlords on this blog for too long.
A good business lesson learned from this experience could be: "if you don't take care of a business, it won't take care of itself" or should I say "let's only involve ourselves in businesses that we have time to supervise".
If you have the time, save the blog Donald, post a comment everytime you post a topic after a few people have commented, that way people will know you're involved in the blog and it will attract more understandable comments.
And if you don't have the time, just close it, it's better to not have a blog than to have one that doesn't reflect the quality of your brand.
Sincerely,
Nicolas
One of the reasons that Donald Trump is where he is today is that he listens to everyone. I know because he listened to me when I was acting like an idiot- but he learned something valuable from it and used the knowledge that I had to share to his advantage. Maybe that is why so many people want to connect- from all nations, languages, and cultures- because they know that he listens. The value of this blog is not the comments that people post- it is the value of listening. Listening to the thoughts that a man like Donald Trump wants to share with the world- listening to the advice that he pays quality people to share with us- listening to what the people from all over the world want to share. Listening is an important part of connecting the dots. If you can't appreciate the comments, then just pay attention to the content that is intentionally posted- you'll learn a lot.
Trump, I'm still 22, but I started to think what I would do when I got 60, 70 years old. I still want to work, specially seing examples like you, and all the start of the century moguls, and specially a 70 year old road constructor I talked to yesterday, I see that there's no reason to worry about that.
Could you share some ideas on that?
The posts which are rambling and incoherent, not to mention irrelevant, should be removed, and repeat offenders, such as Daniela (aka user26105) should be censured. I recently posted a comment on the use of complete sentences in response to another unintelligible entry. While internet blogs can be seen as informal, the moderators of this site would fools not to eliminate the rubbish that so often accumulates here. It's not a matter of listening to everybody's opinion. The "impossible to understand" comments reflect poorly on the Trump name.
It's not like the comments show up instantly, either. All comments are subject to approval before posting. How the heck does it not get noticed?
We as a society, have come to accept the need for physical fitness, and the use of gym's. How amazing our world would be, if we as a society exercised our minds with an equal priority, by simply picking up a book.
I tip my hat to you Mr. Trump, for allowing me this opportunity to reflect back on those who truthfully have been some very great men in my past, recognizing a common, perhaps silent interest, they all shared.

That is the question we are all wondering here in Fresno, California!
Mr. Trump, I personally welcome you to our city, and I regret I was uninformed of your arrival on Friday, Nevertheless, I was excited as the day man first landed on the moon to hear you had ventured onto our soil!
As you have witnessed first hand, Running Horse needs your help!
Yes, the risk is great, and the potential reward even greater. I would recommend tying into the energy commissioner and work a deal to convert the facility to 100% energy independence. Solar produce your own electricity, enough to power the club house, facilities, all the electric golf carts and show everyone you are not afraid to be the first completely energy independent golf course in the world!
That is what Fresno has to offer. And ...I have a driving range design unlike any you have ever seen before. We hope you invest with us!

To Mr. Trump,
Thank you. I always come away from your writings inspired and
informed. You are an incredible resource and I plan to use the
knowledge I' ve gained through you and your faculty to my advantage
in the near future.

I am embarrassed to say this, but I will. A few years back I told my mother, "I cannot seem to even think when I am around certain groups of people. I feel like I am dumb." She said, "I think the reverse is true." I decided to heed her advice and started finding pockets of groups of people who were superior in their fields of study and practice. All of sudden, I never got bored.
Of course, I realized I was still learning, but I was not learning things that seemed to have no purpose except to waste time. It embarrasses me that so many people preoccupy their time in this manner not seeming to realize they have a greater purpose in this life beyond themselves.
The other thing I realized, is my past interests, focuses and efforts are so unique from anyone, man or woman, that I have ever met. And I do think outside the current box. What I mean is, I use to study stocks/bonds/options, took my 63 and 7. The one thing I concluded out of all that time was parents should take the money they would invest in their child's college and put it toward their retirement instead, and let the kid figure out how to pay for their own college. Talk about thinking against the grain! But, it makes sense to me, based on the financial position most parents are in. They should take care of themselves, and if they can, again, invest in their child's retirement, not college. This would take a great deal of stress off of the parents spending their own retirement money on themselves, as well, as help deal with the inheritance issues.
I believe, too, that there is a heavy form of interstate discriminatory monetary practices with state colleges. A resident of Alaska will pay X more per semester, which can run into thousands of dollars of difference, for the same education (give or take in quality and type) than a resident of New Mexico, yet they are both in America. That gives a distinct advantage to the students in New Mexico to have a higher quality of life from beginning to end. And you can argue, as some do, "Well, you can become a resident of New Mexico to receive the same advantages, if it means that much to you." They missed the point, to become a resident, costs you a year of your life. So...my point, is there is always a price to pay due to the inequality of costs within state colleges.
I heard that the U.S. Government, after the Cold War, made most of its money from the college system which surpassed the money they made from the military. You know how the Cold War was good for the economy in the 1980's...
Anyway, it seems hypocritical for the U.S. Government to expect students/parents to go into so much debt to educate their kids, when we, as a country, know that third world countries stay third world countries partially due to lack of quality education.
Why should one parent pay more for state college than another or one student - speaking strictly of state, and not private, colleges?
Also, when the baby boomers die off, those of us left, of which I am one, are going to have a lot less people on this planet to make things happen. I would rather not be stuck with a bunch of people who never educated themselves because of costs that were too high. Self-education is different than group. I have done both. There are advantages to both. But, self lacks community.
I've been thinking about this 'naming' thing a lot lately. I find that a brand name is just an identity, or something static to build on, like a label or a tag. Who would have thought that the name 'Trump' or 'Google' would be as big as they are today? If you asked me what I thought of the name 'Google' 30 years ago, I would've laughed. Who's not to say that the word 'heroog' could be a huge worldwide brand in the future...? My point, I feel that the foundation, systems and values your company is built on is worth more than the name itself. If you rebranded, do you think you could build your company back to what it is now? I think so...
So as to naming, I think you could pick what ever you wanted, it's the back bones that form the brand name prove to be the most important thing.
Thoughts...
Trump is a card playing term where it is the favored suit. In a variant of cutthroat pitch that my family plays, it was the suit of cards that you did not want to play unless you could take all because when you played the trump, it counted against you unless you took all the trumps in the game then they counted for you. One hand of winning the bid and getting all the points and all the trumps would give you enough points to win a match- so the one with the most successful runs won the match.
Google reminds me of googly eyes- that expression on the cartoon character’s face when they first see the one that they love. Google came into the world with that association of that first fascinating glance that cannot be underestimated.
For Trump, placing his name on Trump Towers was the factor that made his brand the power house that it is today because of a factor called building association. We love landmarks and few landmarks are as well remembered as impressive skyscrapers. Everyone wants to get to the top floor of the Empire State Building- it even has a romantic association. For me, when I first saw the Prudential Center in Boston- it filled me with awe and a wonder that carried over to a real respect for Prudential. Buildings enhance a brand name. For Trump to take an incredible golden spire with luxurious attributes rising into the skyline of New York City and to place his name on that building reinforced our pre-existing notion of trump taking all, beating, winning etc from card games. It formed a coalescence of that image with our history of card games to form a brand name that epitomized power, wealth, luxury, and winning- all into one unit of our imagination.
Nevertheless, for that name to win, Trump had to ensure that it always stood for that. Trump needs to stand for all those things- luxury- winning- wealth- power- or it loses its value. When the Trump name sells everything from beef to television shows- losing is the most dangerous thing of all.
Can we take that another name and put Trump quality behind it and have it be as successful? Possibly- especially if you put that name on an impressive tower and advertise that name throughout the building- especially if you have an impressive personality to match and captivate the attention of the public. But if you have a choice for a name- choose a name with a rich history of associations that enhance what you have to sell.
At the very least, it provides fodder for fools who think their opinion is more important than someone else's.
Freedom to express ourself, should be protected. Otherwise, how can we defend ourself from dictators, bullies and close-minded people who lack respect for the differences of others.
Whatever I do in Life, I try to connect the dots. When I am stuck, I am happy to know other players know the game, and can come up with a way to WIN it.
