Opportunities Soar in America's Hot Real Estate Pockets
"The national housing market is better understood as a collection of small, local housing markets. “Where Home Prices Are Hot Now,” an article in today’s Wall Street Journal,* reports that property prices are surging strongly in: Boise, ID; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; and Seattle, WA.
Between 2001 and 2005, property values in those cities were actually lagging behind most of the rest of the nation. But in the last 18 months, they have rebounded solidly.
Why? It’s because those locales have assets that wise property investors are always on the lookout for:
Strong demographics. For example, Retirees have been flocking to Charlotte. Many of them originally retired to Florida and are now looking for something a bit quieter in their second retirement homes. Similarly, Salt Lake City is seeing a new influx of former Californians.
Solid local industries. Seattle, for example, remains a hub of aerospace activity.
Community appeal. Austin attracts people from around the state and country simply because it is a great-looking, solid place to live.
Perceived value. All those cities feature prices that look like terrific values to people from New York, Los Angeles or other more expensive locales.

look, the whole Middle East go hot as G8 go also involved,
and is true that the whole markets will be affected by too many
interests there? From so many restrictions regarding nuclear aspects,
Iranian people need water there so why not in place of a war pressure to offer a world summit with water supply different approach to regreen the pasture there...I remember some products I*ve seen once and presented by a MLM chain at high price but calculated like: costs of the food/month/person and they deliver some tablets *with whole vitamins the body need* look, I was perplexed about that aspect, how damn may change someone the delicious food 3 times per day for 3 tablets at a cheaper price...I don*t know, and my intention is not to touch in debth that but I sense that globally spoken is a breakengine from too long and ftrom where it comes?!!! and why?!!
