The taller you are, the more powerful you are. At least that’s how it appears.
A professor at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business has studied executives and how they achieve status. One of the things she found is that they use their height - or the appearance of height - to their advantage.
Taller people are perceived to be more powerful than shorter people. They really increase their edge by doing things like speaking loudly in a deep voice, putting their hands on the shoulders of shorter adversaries, and - for women, wearing heels.
Several studies have found that taller men are much more likely to be successful than shorter men. In fact, every American president in the last 100 years has been taller than average and corporate CEOs tend to be taller than normal.
I happen to be tall and I happen to be successful. I like to think it has to do with a lot more than just my height.
I know plenty of very successful people who aren’t tall at all. I think you can project success in many ways and it certainly has nothing to do with your physical stature.

It's a little funny - "Taller the height, better the success". There are many successful people who are short in height.

Standing a stunning 5'3" myself, I think the equation should be: ambition + effort = power. I consider myself successful in my industry and have met my personal goals with out adopting a Napolean complex. A person of height to me is someone I can ask to reach something off the top shelf, and I have to remind to watch their heads. I suspect if you were to investigate the person responsible for the study is probably tall himself.
It is a sad truth we are judged by society by physical traights and other traights. However, you can find the inner strength to overcome. Tap into the resources to inspire you.
Like you taller is not success, but how do you explain the olympics and the glob trotters? The truth of the matter is they are all only Ms. keller's children in school. another successfull single mommy/support a good govment jokebook.May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Mr. Mrs. Trump,
Would you care to say success is permment w/observations.
Back to Scram? If you would still like me to I will.
I know you by the apprentice which shows that you are really a tough boss, likewise a successful real estate tycoon. i admire you a lot.
you are tall enough to be successful. however, i don't agree that taller people tend to be successful than shoter do. maybe it is right that over the years presidents in the U.S. are tall men. it is not necessarily true in other nations. i believe the professor's study on the relation between tall man and short one is unfounded., groundless. he just focused on one specified place in the world. i think she should be more comprehensive before coming to a conclusion.
You said, "I think you can project success in many ways and it certainly has nothing to do with your physical stature."
No doubt, just look at Napoleon. ;)
From my own experience, I've noticed that there is, for sure, something to how one projects him or herself onto others, that makes others respond more positive or negative in a business situation. I've seen Don Jr., on the Apprentice, and even live that matter, speak with a very deep and commanding tone of voice. I try to be as professional as I can in my business dealings, and part of this has been how I speak. When I speak the way Don Jr. speaks, I seem to almost intimidate others to the point of submission... or at the very least, get them to work a little harder, lol.

I harkened back to Moosehead in the Archie comic books. The media has a way of stereo typing role models.

I do always follow a tall person when I am Christmas shopping because a short person stands below the average eye level of the crowd, and when I am in the lead, I get elbows in my eyes, and I make big people trip. A tall leader has the power to part the way, and I can shop without injury. I suppose if I wore safety green or a really tall hat I could lead.
Seriously, being tall might make people look up to you (literally) momentarily, but to keep their attention, you need a lot more. Power comes from many things. It can come from position and title, from ability to influence, from assets that can be leveraged, from knowledge, from strength, from reputation, from energy conversion.
