Recently, I wrote several blogs about the Seven Deadly Workplace Sins. Now I’m taking a look at the four Cardinal Virtues: justice, fortitude, prudence and temperance. These are great qualities to have in your personal life and they can carry over to help you thrive in the business world.
Last time I looked at fortitude; now it’s time for a little prudence. After extolling the virtues of courage and people who are willing to take risks, now I’m praising people who have foresight and wisdom. These are the people who are smart enough to actually weigh the possible consequences before they take the gamble. They have the intelligence and good sense to think before they leap. They don’t just charge blindly into any situation hoping for the best. They think it through before they steamroll ahead.
Recklessness never had a place in the business world. There’s way too much at stake - a company’s success, lots of money, and your own reputation. So use discretion, caution and your brain in the office if you want to get ahead.
After all, a bull that goes charging into in a china shop certainly commands attention, but not the good kind.

That is why I prefer Trump university over the other universities, where passing exams is the only game. They are justified because in the money-world, being recognized by the powerful majority is more important than any level of wisdom or prudence.
If you think otherwise, then try getting by on wisdom and prudence alone.
Being born rich and passing exams at the right time takes the ultimate prudence away from you:
The fact that prudence is very very irrelevant in the world of the rats and their banks!
That is why I have been suggesting so much to Trump university that you should try to make a book or course about getting from zero to something. That would be the ultimate exam -For Trump university!
Because you don“t sell exams but prudence, you have to be 1000 times better than all others. But that is also exactly how I see you.
A good example of speaking before thinking is "Dog's" comments that were recorded. I saw an TV interview last night of him and it seems he is sincere with his apology. Plus he recognizes some people will never forgive him for it. It they do forgive him, they probably won't forget.
Looking forward to the future posts!
