As the person responsible for marketing at TrumpU I am always happy to find news about our company getting picked up on Digg.com.  Today we found out a blogger wrote about one of our entrepreneurship tests. The test referenced in the blog rates your leadership skills against Donald Trump's qualities and the post received a Digg. If you are an active reader of this blog and want to help us push this particular story up we would appreciate if you could take a look at the posting and vote for us.

If you are not familiar with Digg you should check out the site since there are always interesting news bits finding their way to the Digg home page.

Thanks for your support and please let us know what you think about the assessment by leaving us a comment.

The results is really based upon the re-actions and actions af a team play. Based upon a person resources & knowledge that may hinder the task. The challenge may be more easy for a team of experts that understand and think in the same fashion.

To be independent and leading a team, may or may not hinder the outcome, as to the approach of the problems faced at the time. But what great idea...a competition against Mr. Trump!

Very interesting! According to this test, I should be a billionaire very soon! I certainly have what it takes, but I have to admit...I don't want to be EXACTLY like Donald Trump. However, I have learned a great deal from his experiences and work...but, there is only one DONALD. You can incorporate his winning methods into your style, but you have to maintain your own identity and be yourself. Thanks for the hot tips, Mr. T.

I took the test, and it bummed me OUT!

I think based on the results I have my chances are less than average that I willmake it in the business world, now what? I know that, I have two marks that are high, everything else I tested low in. I suppose I did identify, my weakness, with a model, and can now work on improving the results.
I was just saying today, that I have never had a job where I get evaluated, then I took this test, I don't think I will report the findings to anyone who I am seious about getting a job with!

My results did not suprise me, I know most of this stuff about myself, I am a idea person, I don't even pretend to understand the world of money. I think I have a alergic reaction to wealth or something, is there some way to overcome this? Can people learn this skill set, or are you "stuck" with who you are?

One more thought.... I like the test, but it is discouraging to a person who thinks like me- I don't know if I willever get the chance to be "like Donald" I think anyone can try anything, but only I am the best at being me. Why we all want to be more like him is because he is a billionaire, but I suppose I fear that I would trade "me" for money, and I can't get past that fear of giving up who I think I want to be- a free thinker, independent, even long after it has shown time and time again that it does not work well for me!
At least I have passion and as far as I can tell a lot of people who are rich are bored out of their minds, because they lost the passion for life. I hope that no matter what else happens, I will always have a passion for everything I try.

Best regards,
Tammie Coffey

"Digg deep to find the water, but cautious before you drink it."
I think the Trump Challenge didn't dig deep enough.
If I hired employees based upon these questions I would end up with more questions than experienced answers.
Mr. Trump is an expert in the Real Estate business. I am an experienced Artist. Apples and Oranges are fruit, two of the same kind, but different. An apple is not better than an orange unless you are in the Orange Juice business. Mott's Applesauce may disagree about which tastes better.
Before you compare yourself to ANYONE, look into a mirror and know the reflection staring back is the person that was meant to be YOU.

What makes a person a marketing expert? Most people seem to think making flyers and having a website is marketing. It would be interesting to hear what sucha large company considers marketing. Let us know, Chris at http://www.holanewmexico.com

Very interesting! According to this test, i belong to the average area that means if it's true
that i must work harder than i do now if i want to be well recognised as D.Trump is.

So now it's time to prove our selves to us and to prove this test wrong or right regarding our
expectations.

I am always on the look out for hidden markets- I look for ads that are crafted in places like Craigs list- then try to see who is behind them, what they are trying to acomplish, and see what if anything I can practice from what I have learned here. I found an ad, exchanged a few e-mails and eneded up writing a new ad for a samll business- I have started a new topic that I call Americans using what they know to help each other out here.
It is a basic concept, it may or may not catch on- I hope it does!

Thanks again for all the great lessons- I am having fun trying my new skill set in the world and showing off what I am learning!

Hello Mr. Donald Trump

I got less than average, but I take it as a challenge and believe that one day i will be standing eye to eye with you and my business will be the first rival for you and I will compete and reach exactly where you are.
I respect you and you are my role model..

I never dream to cross over you, but i want to become like you or else same up to you and I am not dreaming that too, i always believe.

Thank you Mr. Donal Trump
See you soon,

Shayeen

Well, that was disappointing. I expected a more in-depth measure. These questions were too restricting to fit my thinking style. I have always hated multiple choice and scale questions because often, I am coming at the actual point from a different perspective, and there is no place to explain my unusual thought processes. I took the test, but the results are not at all what I would say is an accurate assessment, and I am pretty in touch with my self.

By my personal assessment, my business optimism is very high.

My promotion of projects and products is high. For example, I began door to door sales at the age of 7. I sold cards and seeds. I was one of the top sales persons in school magazines, and fruit. What I don't promote is myself. I don't brag, and I don't toot my own horn. Your questions didn't allow for differentiation on that point.

I have confidence in myself, but I am always evaluating my performance to find ways to improve. In the past, I took some really hard knocks in life, and survived places where I was beaten down in my personal life. I am aware that I am human and therefore not perfect. I am demanding of myself. Level of confidence is a changeable point. In the overall scheme of things, I don't feel any of us is really so significant by ourselves.

Work drive was an accurate measure. I am extreme on that point.

Wealth motivation was given as an either or. I want it all. I want all the things I value. I don't think it has to be an either or. Money is a tool. I want that tool to do my work. Given a choice between money and the things that give me joy. I would choose joy then creatively get the things money usually is used to acquire. Money is just paper. The value is in what it can do for you. That is why I want it. I am highly motivated to find a way to have it all.

As for work passion. I am very adaptable. I have passion about everything I do. I can do a job that doesn't fulfill all my passions as long as I have projects I am passionate about in my life. I am not defined by my title. I am much more, and I always try to put a great deal of myself into my work.

If anyone were to check with the people I have worked with and for they would find that my demand for excellence is pretty high. I am not a perfectionist, but close. I am very demanding of myself. The questions asked about products purchased cannot measure this because of my personal experience. I believe you get what you pay for. Personally, I want to buy top quality then take good care of things, but when we are considering a tool in the hands of an angry teen, I will buy cheap stuff, because they are going to tear it apart. I hate to cut corners. If you are going to do a job, do it right. However, you have to work within the confines of life and others expectations. For example, if I have 30 minutes to supervise kids cleaning the wood shop at the school, we are not going to get all the sawdust, but, we will have improved the environment. It would not be realistic to demand of myself that I keep the kids beyond that time so the room is absolute perfection - especially when you consider next week, it will be totaled again. We still meet and exceed expectations. Do your best within the parameters with the resources available.

Tenacity was pretty accurate. I am persistant, determined, very goal oriented.

Resilience was too low. I am pretty tough. I would put my resilience at 10.

My overall Trump potential is not my real potential - as measured, its not even close. I am already a success in progress. I need to wrap up my husbands business. I need to adjust my long-term plan. I need to clean up financial details. Then, I need to forge ahead with the success I design.

This test reminds me of IQ tests. The same person can take several different IQ tests and show entirely different results - in one a genius, in the next a moron. Life is a more accurate test.

What about personality tests like the Meyers-Briggs?

I got such a low score I think your computing algorithm is buggy, however as the finest debugger in the business I can probably smarten you up.
Act now and I will even give Trump Inc a 7% discount from my normal corporate rates.
thanks for the entertainment!
