We all have special qualities and skills that are too valuable to be kept to ourselves. I feel compelled in my life to mentor others in those areas as a form of community service. I have been blessed with an incredible family, a level head on my shoulders and a wide variety of life experiences which have shaped the person that I have become. In the past, I have mentored disadvantaged kids and currently am serving on the Board of a sizable children’s shelter and counseling center in my local area. I am passionate about seeing to it that children, whose voice is often too quiet to be heard, get the same chances to succeed that I did.
Of course one of my professional passions is real estate mentorship and I have learned as much by teaching as I have from my own mentors. In business, I constantly mentor my employees and try to get the most out of the talents they possess. I listen to their ideas and then channel those into viable marketing plans helping them to avoid the pitfalls caused by the fallacies in their plan. I don’t feel like I am doing near is much as I should but I certainly see a huge difference in those people’s lives I am able to help. If we could all just introspect a bit about what our talents are, seek out those who could benefit from those talents and mentor them, we could really enrich their lives and have a profound effect.
I challenge to you today to identify both a personal and professional strength or passion you have then share with me on this blog about how you can reach out to someone who could most use your mentoring in those areas. Conversely, there are many other areas in our lives which we should rely on others to mentor us.

The only way i learnt about the benefit of real estate was when i stated buying Mr Trumps books.Today i think like a billionaire, and i dont walk like i own the wold i walk like i DONT care who does,...
Although i still have a long way to go,thanks to Mr Trumps motivational books,i was able to take advantage by securing myself few properties around my town.
Mr Trump,I WISH ONE DAY I CAN BE ABLE TO MEET YOU
Evans,.......South Africa in Johannesburg.
I appreciate leaders in all industry that take the time to mentor. As a former non profit Director it is important to me to see professionals’ giving back in other forms besides cash, as it is personal mentorship that impacts a child more than money.
Although I lack the ability to purchase all of your books, I have checked many of them out from the library. The few that I have purchased I've donated to a book trading store that will allow others to read your books just as I have.
Mr. Trump if you’re in the habit of mentoring a select few, I would love to spend a week with you to learn the ins and outs of the corporate for-profit-world, or I'd be happy to receive copies and read all of your books. If possible I’d love to attend a seminar or two. Since I've primarily worked in the non-profit world, I feel you would provide to me valuable information about Management as that is extremely important to learn in the declining U.S. Market.
Sincerely,
Stefanie Armstrong

Great Article! I have been in real estate for about a year and a half. I find that a great mentor and lots of training is great help with our current market conditions. I know that I like to encourage and inspire other people to think positive thoughts. I know that it is so vital to have a positive atmosphere in the business world. I have found that having someone to lift me up, going to great seminars, reading outstanding books, and some helpful blogs have helped keep me going this last year and a half. the amount that I have grown and learned is priceless. I love passing on any knowledge that I can.
I look forward to some more great blogs..Arnie
At the age of 21, as I dip my feet futher into the waters of the real world I'm constaintly amazed at all the different things that exist in these waters so to speak. And I tend to come across more and more people such as yourself who do enjoy taking part in the lives of other individuals. It's actually quite facinating and inspiring.
I don't have any real estate experience yet and am on the verge of making my first investment when I find the right people to help and guide me through it. But when I get good at it and create the companies I dream of I hope to provide as much as possible to as many people as possible through the charity and educational programs I will include in each business plan for each company.
I've now assembled a team of investors and skilled professionals to buy and renovate 1000s of units over the coming years. Mentorship and skill building plus relentless detailed focus and determination are driving factors.
Thanks for the inspiration.

You asked us to "identify both a personal and professional strength or passion you have then share with me on this blog about how you can reach out to someone who could most use your mentoring in those areas" So, here it goes, not exactly in that order.
I have a passion for music. I have a passion for making the world a better place. I have a gift for writing and saying what needs to be said for those who have no voice. I have written some songs, and they are powerful. They help people who don't understand issues to feel them. They also help people who have been through those issues to begin dealing with healing. This isn't the usual form of mentoring, but it is a beginning. Many people who've never acknowledged the pain in their past share the experience with me when they hear a song. This opens opportunities for me to serve as the ear that listens - helping people move beyond the experience.
