Trump University came out with a book last year called Entrepreneurship 101: How to Turn Your Idea into a Money Machine. I wrote the foreword and first chapter, and entrusted the very knowledgeable Michael E. Gordon, PhD, with writing the rest. I was reviewing it again recently and realized how valuable a guide it is for today.
There’s not a specific college degree for being a great entrepreneur, but this book will set you up and on your way in a very comprehensive way. In my introduction, I mention that entrepreneurship starts with vision. Without a vision, nothing of consequence will happen. I have told the story before of how the people who have survived harrowing situations seemed to have one thing in common--they maintained hope, and kept a clear vision not only of survival, but their future. They were making plans throughout their ordeal.
This attitude got them through crises, some of which were life threatening. Their courage allowed them to move forward with their lives despite being in unfortunate circumstances. I mention this because in today’s world a lot of people may feel stuck, but remember that things change, and so it’s important to keep your goals and your plans intact, as well as clear. Strategy can be devised in any situation, and as I say in this book, problems are just a door to success.
You need to be ready for mobilization when the time is right. Make the most of your time and talent now and read this book carefully. It’s a terrific guide and will inspire you and help you to be all you can be.

But to grow is painfull, and I believe you grow when you go through, as you put it Mr.Trump, harrowing situations. I had my piece of harrowing times, some of them even life-threatening, well at least the potential to be. But I learned from those times and got tougher & smarter, but I sure would not like to go through them again.
Perhaps you could say that my hope has also been strengthened by a vision. As I see it you can have individual goals, but the vision is always there, gleaming in the distant.
Anyways, that book seems to suit the period of my life pretty good I may say. I usually prefer books written solely by you Mr.Trump, but I know you certainly have what it takes to pick the right people. And I'm sure that Michael E. Gordon is a very credible good man.
I JUST PURCHASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP 101, HOW TO TURN YOUR IDEA INTO A MONEY MACHINE. FROM AMAZON.COM.

I love Trump University and all that you stand for. Education is necessary. Things change and you have to be prepared to meet those changes. I invest in my future and expect returns. So far, my money has been ill-spent. I have invested and I have not received one penny in results.
I admire you as a businessman, and recommend you to friends. Yet I am in the unfortunate position of losing my home and business address. Not because of what I did or didn't do. Not because I didn't try to better my situation. Not because I didn't get off my butt and try to change things.
I tried. With less than a college degree, a family inheritance, or a new companion, I find myself on my own with a lot of hope and nothing more.
I am honest, pay my debts, and make a good friend. I can't fall in love as easily as some people would like me to, and I don't lie and lead people on. If I say I will pay you back, I mean it. And if I say, "I love you," it's because I do. I rarely say, "I love you," but when I am in love, I give my personal best.
Maybe this is not the professional resume one would expect, but with or without a book of guidelines, I know in my heart I deserve to succeed. I only need to find the right person to agree with me. I don't like thinking alone...
But true entrepreneurship starts when you have the endurance to stay focus on the prize. Competition starts with a person...a mind set with professionals that help win the prize. To network in that entrepreuship guidlines...
A book can only set the standards...and the rest is up to the person 101.
I am a university student enrolled in a entrepreneurship course. Within the context of the course, we have been assigned the task to come up with questions on entrepreneurship which should be answered by a well known and well-qualified person. I have chosen you knowing that you are well beyong well-qualified to answer the following questions. I hope you will take the time to answer these questions. It would greatly be appreciated!
1. What are the tools or strategies that you used to differentiate yourself from the countless other entrepreneurs trying to make it (i.e.: become successful)?
a. What has proven to be the most successful tool or strategy?
2. What do you consider to be your biggest failure throughout your career? Your biggest success? And how have you learned from them?
3. What was your driving force, your motivation throughout your career?
Thank you.
