Why I selected Brande Roderick to Play The Celebrity Apprentice

As an actress and businesswoman, Brande brings a solid background as well as landscape to the boardroom. A Playmate with smarts.

Brande Roderick, www.financiallyhung.com, is best known as being the 2001 Playboy Playmate of the Year and a Baywatch babe, she is an equally astute businessperson. Brande is the CEO and majority owner of Financially Hung, a web site that combines business development, social networking and celebrity events to create an ultimate experience for members. In fact, one of Brande's celebrity members is Celebrity Apprentice challenger Annie Duke. Brande also manages two other companies including She-Ra Productions, a film and television production company that she began in 2000.

In addition to being on "The Celebrity Apprentice," Brande will soon star in "Flirty 30's," a new reality TV show which also features Brooke Burke and Tracy Bingham. She recently guest starred in the CW Network's "The Game," and hosts a show on the Reelz Channel called, "What I Learned from the Movies."

Brande is playing The Celebrity Apprentice to benefit the California Police Youth Charities, www.calpyc.com. This organization builds relationships between California's law enforcement and youth communities. They award scholarships and fund activities, but more than that, they are mentors who engage kids and help them to build a productive future.

Brande and her husband, former NFL player Glen Cadrez, especially enjoy taking groups children to their first NFL football game, on behalf of California Police Youth Charity. There, the kids get to watch the game, meet the players, get autographs and do a lot of smiling.
