Some Good News on April 15th

Today, which is April 15th, the New York Daily News has an article called Donald, yer hired! in their paper. The subtitle is Trump tops nationwide Web poll on whom we’d like to prepare our tax returns. I didn’t know about the poll so this came as a surprise.

The article, written by Sarah Kaufman and Bill Hutchinson, says:

What do Donald Trump and CNN newsman Anderson Cooper have in common? They’re the celebrities Americans feel most comfortable doing their taxes.

In a nationwide survey by WalletPop.com, The Donald edged out The Coop, 32% to 27%, as the most trusted tax preparer.

Apparently over 41,000 people responded to the online poll on the AOL personal and consumer finance site. The article continues: Although Trump and Cooper formed an unlikely turbotax duo, hotel heiress Paris Hilton was voted the worst person to prepare a tax return.

My comment is that it’s nice to know that I’m trusted. I think people can see how I operate by watching The Apprentice and reading my books and blogs, and they know I’m a straight shooter. But I hope all of you have someone doing your taxes who you can rely on to be honest. April 15th should be as painless as possible.

We have the same deadline of income tax return here in the philippines. I hope you encourage the individuals here and up lift the morals to pay their taxes. We must launch your book in asia cities. 1st stop philippines, 2nd stop japan, then korea, then shanghai, hk, singapore, malaysia, taiwan and bangkok. We must conquer mr. Trump. And the poll survey will be worldwide. I want to be your apprentice and we must conquer asia.

Congratulations. Well deserved.

Paris Hilton. Don't know what to think of her. Never met her. But I do know, that when you are famous, you have alot of people looking up to you and following what you do, influence. Beeing famous means power. With power comes responsibility. I suppose she has done some things that questions her judgement. But, I suppose it's harder when you are born famous as well. I suspect in the cases where parents have blamed Paris Hilton for a negative impact on their children it's probably rather the parents fault than anyone else. As in most cases where celebreties impact on the world is questioned.

I suppose, all people doesn't have as a straight course as the Trump vessel. Hehe.

Personally... I wouldn't want one of those Dummies that owe billions doing my taxes... sure I might get a good return this year...but in the future I am going to hounded by the IRS... I think even Paris Hilton won't make as stupid a mistake as some of these Swindlers...

I would Trust Donald also... because he doesn't let anything get by him and he's always thinking of the consequences and the risk / reward factors.. I can get a good nights sleep with that type of tax service. It also helps to know that he will always be looking to see where I can get more money from my tax return..

Hi from Finland!

I did read that article in NY Daily News, there was also a good picture! I recognized that it is very useful magazine, I will read it in future too. And it is nice to be here at Trump University because we have a very good teacher who shows us a good example and is reliable.

We all should be honest with taxes. In Mexico for example, only 45% of working people pays taxes, and most of them don't pay them like they should.

In Mexico most of business are small and medium, and the small ones make all kind of things to avoid paying taxes.

Thats a big problem here. Taxes help the country to grow, and without them the country is paralize, then the government recieves all kind of questions and punishment from people and the press.

I admire following about Mr. Trump: to be a TV celebrity and a great business person at the same time. Plus - both of these seemingly diverse things are united under one of the strongest trademark in today's business world.
I believe, credibility is connected with responsibility and track record. Take responsibility for your actions (and don't blame anyone if you fail) and let your product or service be the best on the market and credibility will follow - that's the lesson I learned from this great man Mr.Donald Trump.
