Father's Day

To this day, I think of my father every single day. He was a tremendous presence in my life and the example he set for me remains intact. His integrity was beyond reproach, and the legacy he left behind was as important to him as it is to me. In that sense we are still very much together. Our goals may have been different--he didn’t see why I wanted to build glass skyscrapers, for example, when bricks worked for him as a developer--but the means were the same: hard work, focus, integrity, and a standard that would not be diminished by time or circumstances.

I mention my father’s influence in my latest book Think Like a Champion and how he helped me to become a leader. That’s a mindset and a discipline and he knew it. He made sure I was equipped with what I needed to succeed and to succeed with substance. He gave me a firm foundation from which to begin, and that foundation is the reason for my success today.

The problem that some people have with Father's Day is that they may not have had a pleasant childhood with their fathers and they still have bitterness about that when they become adults. I didn't know who my father was until I was thirty years old and the person who claimed to be my father until that time was a hardened and abusive man. It is such an incredible blessing for me that I can honestly say that I respect and value my own father for who he is and for the example that he has set.

We want to say Happy Fathers day in our family!

Thinking like a champion and honoring a Holy commandment. Being raised on a farm sets the pace of setting aside ill differences. People have changed and the children drifted away from that honor regardless if they were a good or bad parents.

Growing up on the farm....we never asked for money. They provided with-in their means. A much different society today about child support and what they think is owed. They forgot about God and lost honor and respect in their lives as fathers, parents and family. They forgot about truth and some changed. We were very happy...and very thankful!

Happy Fathers day!... to our loved ones and families. Thinking like a champion...and setting aside all differences and to honor truth on that day. Respect as and for all fathers.

Mr. Trump,

You were truly blessed to have that kind of Father, but I believe he probably felt the same knowing his efforts were valued, and watching you grow through his example. When a son, daughter, student, or protege is wise enough to realize the need to learn and is open to being taught, it is rewarding - particularly if he asks the quantity and quality questions such as yours. The teacher lives on and is honored by the lessons learned and carried on. It is evident you have passed some of these lessons on to your children along with anyone who makes the investment to learn the wisdom you share. Thank you.

There is such a need in this world for strong ethical father figures. One question I try to ask each child I encounter in my work is "Who lives with you?" It is rare that I encounter a child who lives with both parents.

Father ‘s day is about to come, lets pay tribute to our dear fathers for their untiring efforts likewise to their moral and financial support. We owe a lot to them. We could make this day special by way of giving gifts as a gratitude to them. iphones could be a better gift . Many a technophile is awaiting the iPhone 3.0 release time, and those who don't know already (Luddites!) the iPhone 3.0 release time will be 1 pm Eastern, 10 am Pacific, on June 17th, 2009. The iPhone update download will be made available at that time, free to all who own iPhones, but iPod Touch users will have to pay $10 for the update, which includes browser software and other updates, and for less than most instant loans. Apple devotees have been waiting in the wings for an update to the iPhone and iPod touch. They lined up instant loans to get the newest, fastest technology, which makes the iPhone 3.0 release time a big deal.

The very moment my father passed away it dawned upon me that the world was a nasty place. I have been protected all my life and thought life was as nice as disney films. How dissappointed I was to find many smiling lovers who end up being pretencious and angry family members and disciplinarians mean well. I was touched by mr Trunp's notes upon his father. Yes I share the same feelings about my old man, he was a great leader even without a formal post. I exemplify him in modesty and frankness in my approach towards the young also the older generation. I still wonder why in the midst of watching miss Universe mydad remarked the beauty queen has had bad experiences with many powerful men to reach the top and her beauty and brains had not much to do with her victory. So I grew up and grew very worried at 30 and looking like myself i get bothered everyday. I wish dad was still around. But I always take care of myself. And thank god I will finally find a man to marry one who is known for his extreme wrath anger and discipline feared by all in his contingent. I had to because this guy was 90 percent as hard and disciplined as my dad was. I dated sweet men who wanted money rich men who only wanted fun. But a monster wants a good nice wife to marry. Now that is rare. Shrek ever watched that I thought I will never fall for any man anymore. I fell for this one, cause for daddy's little girl who lost her daddy only one with enough self confidence and pure responsibilty upon myself I would dare marry. Sometimes the cards the flowers the candy do not count. The hug the warm comforting words of a father is what Father's day is all about. I wish my dad still is around however I know he is always in my heart. He showed me reality and harshness behind the facade.

It is the first time when I hear about this Father´s Day celebrated on the third Sunday of June in 52 of the world's countries. Here in Finland the Father´s Day is in 8th of November! It is very fascinating to familiarize these differentials about celebrities between other countries.
Here in Finland we have now the midsummer day and the festival of the lightest time in the year. It is the time to stop and think the deepest purpose and beauty of the life. We have been given only one life for living and you can learn something new in every day if you want.
It is very important to remember what we have to learn from our parents or from other people who have lived before us. We could learn how we must act or how we should not act. Choice is finally yours, but good education gives your the keys to check your point of view and renew your way of thinking and also gives you many happy moments when you realize that you have exceeded your own thinkable potential opportunities.
I am also very grateful to my parents and their value grows every day when you are getting older.

I appreciate that sentiment, Donald. I've read most of your books and know from them what you father means to you and your mother too. It's important that you let people know that for them and you. My dad - and mom - age 88 loves me, always has, and taught me to be optimistic and make my own happiness. He's a realist too - he understands the ways of the world. BUT his encouragement to be responsible for my decisions and actions is something I thank him for every day. Happy Father's Day Donald.

Skyscrapers, bricks and the youth of Mount Edith Cavell. I have met many fathers today who are the same age as my own father, and they all seem to love Mount Edith Cavell. It was a blurred day today as the constant reminder of my father and his love for the mountains and the salt of the Atlantic left me exhausted with many loving memories of awe and respect for that which is unforgiving, and that which is imposed on our human wonderment.

If one can give women flowers, my wish would be to give my father a mountain of faith, both will always be there to survive the test of time, where in as buildings have not yet been as dependable for such period of time.

I still remember my little outings with father. Every Saturday morning he would take me out to a cafe for donuts and milk. There he would shower me with love and affection in the presence of all of his friends. His endless love and admiration have made me the person I am today and I try every day to pass along the love that was given to me. Happy Father's Day Daddy! I will always love you.

Amen, Mr. Trump!!!

I so agree that our parents set the chain reaction in place that builds our character or lack of it. It's really according to how well, we follow those standards that are set in place for us. You are an extraordinary example of a child who grasped and excelled through parental guidance and strong work ethics.
My parents have also been great role models which defines my upbringing and my desire to emulate their standards. My father has been the foundation and rock, our family depends on. He's the kind of man that people will cross the street to say hello.

My dad is the best!! Happy Fathers Day to my dad, Bill McCray [love you!!] and all dads out there!!

Have a wonderful day with your family and Happy Father's Day, Mr. Trump!!

Good evening Mr. Trump,

Today, I finished Trump the Art of the Deal - strong ending and good quotes.

"It's easy to be generous when you've got a lot, and anyone who does should be. But, what I admire most are people who put themselves directly on the line." - DJT

"To me, what matters is the doing, and giving time is far more valuable than just giving money." - DJT

Thank you for taking the time to write your thoughts and experiences, and thank you for recommending to me that I read them.

As a parent you have a huge responsibility. Some fill it out some don't. I think that it's one of those things that really reflects the character of a person. It's probably the ultimate task of our lives. I mean, you will probably never have so much influence over a life.

Hope you had a great Father's Day! That firm foundation is more important than you realize and you deserve a lot of credit for keeping it firm. My own father was an abusive alcoholic, but really tried his best. He thought that it was not a good thing to try because you always had your heart broken- but he was up and down trying his whole life- he never had that solid foundation- he never valued integrity and honesty and tried to raise me to not value those things. I remember more than 20 years ago, that I was telling myself that I need to dig myself out of all this sand and lay in a firm foundation. I never gave up on that goal, but I am always find new places where I need to dig out and start over. When I see the show Clean House- where you take someone who has buried their life under a mountain of clutter- when they have the commitment to allow someone to help them dig themselves out and start over with a design that works- that builds that firm foundation- it's always amazing to me that they can maintain it for years. Those that can't are soon buried again. It's like you say in Think Like a Billionaire that you need to have a firm commitment to quality in your life in every area. No matter how many times I start over, I still find myself falling- but you have taught me to never, never, ever give up. Here's to a firm foundation! Your greatest gift to the world is your writing- never, ever, ever give it up!

"listen to your father; without him you would not exist. When your mother is old, show her your appreciation. Truth, wisdom, learning, and good sense - these are worth paying for, but too valuable for you to sell."

"a righteous person's parents have good reason to be happy. You can take pride in a wise child. Let your father and mother be proud of you, give your mother that hapiness."

Mr. Trump Sir, you are hilarious . lol what were you thinking about the skyscrapers? I still rememember the first memory to Vegas, my friend was like " oh it's the Trump's tower!" I told him one day I will meet the man in person and have coffee with him. It's short of wishful thinking but I know you can relate you it sir. You've done great things and keep up on the great work! Mr. Trump,
You made the greatest business decision on RAW. In the business sense, you took double the buyout, AND thus giving McMahon the debt of the commercial free show, and paying back the fans their money, no to mention paying you for RAW. McMahon is going to be bankrupt, pure and simple. And then you buy back RAW at fraction of its cost. I applaud you.

Happy Happy fathers day!!!!!

From my straight opinion,Fathers Day is very very vital in my life, without my father or mother regardless of their character or class, they came together and created us,without which generations simply come to astand still, think about that ovum waiting for years to come to represent the generations to come,It is avery vital and naturally selected process so that you became achild when your mom conceived you from your fathers sperms.
The Unlucky lot of non existent and gone human beings were never fertilised but insted got washed away thru menses. Some we aborted and some died during birth.

Thanks to my Dad and Mum and more so to God for the wonderful life.Trump am proud of the way you value your father.

Kind Regds To All.

Every time I see Ivanka on TV, I can't help but be reminded of something my dad said: "Don't ever think that marrying a rich girl is the way to Easy Street. A rich girl will expect you to work harder than any other will!"
