Donald Trump's Summer Reading List for Business Success - Part 2

I learned a great deal about business and life from my father, Fred C. Trump. I learned from watching him and working with him. He was unable to attend college himself, so it meant even more to him for his children to be well educated and well read. I will always be grateful to him for emphasizing the importance of education, and reading is still an integral part of my daily life. To make sure it’s part of yours,  here’s a list that has the variety that life presents to us. Being good at business means having a broad base of knowledge to work from--so make sure you have your bases covered. I hope you all have a productive and enjoyable summer--and don’t forget to read!

Robert Kiyosaki has assembled a team of people who know about real estate from the inside out and their advice, insights and experiences are included in this compilation. My two sons, Don Jr. and Eric, have contributed, and so have I. This is a great book whether you are a long time investor or a first time buyer.

I agree that reading is an integral part of daily life as well as in education. When you are still studying and you devote most of your time in reading you always have the advantage among other students. Being a wide reader is an edge. I’d like to commend the author for encouraging people spending their summer vacation into a productive one, which is to devote time in reading, Indeed, being a wide reader is an edge. When yu are going to take a path in business, you need to have a broad knowledge of what it takes to be in the business world. You have to give your best and it takes a lot of perseverance and guts to be in the pedestal of success. Sometimes it may need an extra cash when you have emergency expenses. Who doesn't want extra cash? (Heck – I'd like a little extra cash right now.) Well, unfortunately, there is no Philosopher's Stone that will make gold from lead (you can in a particle accelerator – but not enough to cash in), so any extra money you get is likely going to have to be paid back.

"The Real Book of Real Estate" sounds like interesting read. I always liked Kiyosaki, and this book should be even better with your participation mr. Trump.

Some of those books are good, some are just so-so. The one financial book for all to read, from age 8 to 88 is: "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George S. Clason. It's an easy and quick read but has some basic principles we all need to know and remember. One guy gave this book to a class of 6th graders, they began "investing" with monopoly money, reading the financial section of newspapers to follow their stocks, and following the real estate section to check the market on property they "bought". By the end of the year they were asking for shares of stock for Christmas from their parents instead of toys. Thirty years later, many of those students are very financially secure because they learned the basics at a young age.

Hello, mr. Trump. I am a 13 years old boy from Slovenia (yes, Melanija comes from the same country).
I admire your work, so I have been reading some of your books (I liked the one with Zanker). When I came to NYC, I was waiting in Trump tower for some time, hoping to see you. Because you are one of my biggest idols, I decided to write an article on you. You can see it on my blog: www.blogo.blog.siol.net.

I want to be like you one day, mr. Trump!

I want to be the Trump of Escondido, CA!!! I am going on 60 and have never done what I've wanted to do. I was spoiled by the last husband I had and learned that life is better when you have money. Together we owned a Paintball Park and after the divorce, I don't even own a car. I will never give up on my dreams and I am not afraid of hard work. I love to work, laugh, dance and sing!! I am proud to be on this site and thank you for the inspiration that you give me and I know that others are as inspired by you as I am!!!

I cant believe there are people in the world that read Fiction books! I will die before I ever get to read all the books I want too. I believe if a fiction book is any good, they will make it into a movie and I can sit down and watch it in 2 hours (and get back to my books !) there is always something to learn and inspire. I am an avid reader, especially of business books, and looking forward to getting started with the books on this list. I would also like to recommend Malcolm Gladwells new book, the Outliers. I picked up at the airport recently and could not put it down. Definitely some concepts in its pages you don't want to miss.

Warmly,

Krissy

Africa is becoming an economic power house, i think Trump should break the norm and visit Africa to share on his unimaginable experience in business. He should also invest in this part of the world.
