Blog ImageWe should all get together and make a country in which everybody can eat turkey whenever he pleases.

 --Harry S. Truman

When the Thanksgiving season comes around, it makes me think about how we should always be in a season of thanksgiving. There’s always a reason to be grateful. We’ve had some challenges the past couple of years and we’ve seen some improvement, and things will continue to improve.

There are silver linings to situations that may appear less than positive. The important thing is to approach each day with a sense of victory. Are you big enough for what the day will bring?

When I am faced with apparently overwhelming schedules and events, I realize that I can handle them. Why? Because I have faith that I can take care of what comes my way. It comes my way for a reason, therefore I know I’m big enough for the task. Instead of looking on the difficult side, I welcome the challenges as another opportunity to be productive. I actually enjoy myself, and am grateful to be in this position.

That’s the key point: Be grateful. Whether you’re having troubles or whether things are going wonderfully, remember to be thankful. Your confidence level will rise to the occasion and you’ll find you have even more reasons to celebrate the season.

Wow! The challenges are getting much harder these days.
I'm not sure if what we gain is worth the price we pay.
Regardless, I always appreciate a great Thanksgiving meal.
And I always say, "Thank you," and mean it.
Have a great holiday feast.
God knows you've earned it.

Love the Truman quote and what a joy it is to live in a world where people CAN eat turkey whenever they please!

There is always something to be grateful for. And it is especially important in these times that we recognize those things.

In Sweden we don't have Thanksgiving.

We are all living very tumultuous times nowadays. I have one sentence on my mind that I repeat every now and then and it is:

"Keep an happy and satisfied attitude in all situations, despite of what happens around you"

I love the key point: Be grateful. It reminds us to stay humble, but yet continual striving without resting on our laurels. I have finally been following "The Trump Blog" religiously for the past year, and the insights here are always refreshing.

I love the positive and forward looking approach!

Cheers,

Thanksgiving is the best holiday there is. Being grateful, and happy about what you have will help inspire you the whole year through, because it will help you realize what is important for you, as well as making you thankful for the great things in life. Thanksgiving is a holiday that represents our country in the best light, because it makes us thankful, and we can all live with that!
