He has his own State Park!

A crazy thing happened to me this weekend driving up state to go to a Covais Family reunion. As I was cruising up the Taconic State Parkway I passed a sign saying Donald Trump State Park. I was so surprised I almost drove off the road.      You see people are always asking me, what makes Trump University so special? Why should I take Trump's program over other real estate course? What separates him from the other so called Real Estate Guru's out there? My response used to be that Trump University sets the Gold Standard for teaching successful Real Estate Investment. I would say that more...

This could be the one!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day Weekend. I know I’m a little late, but I would like to thank any of our readers who severed in our countries armed forces. It is easy to forget with all the barbeques and fun, that we owe the men and women who have served in our military over the years a debt of gratitude.               Speaking of barbeques I had a nice one with my family on Sunday, but other than that I didn’t really do anything exciting. I had a low key couple of days; my girlfriend was still recuperating from her more...

Two hospitals in two days is too much!

The last blog I posted I was anticipating the call with Gary. Afterward I was going to follow up with everyone. Since then all hell has broken loose and I really haven’t had a minute to do anything. Within two days I had spent over fourteen hours in two different hospitals and let me tell you it wasn’t fun. My one saving grace was both times I wasn’t the sick person, I was just there for moral support.               The whole thing really started way before I wrote my last post. Rick had been moaning about a pain he had in more...

Gary's back and I hope he's ready to talk!

The month has flown buy and I feel like I haven’t stopped for a minute. From the L.A. trip to loading the pictures to my normal work load I am exhausted. Subsequently I have fallen behind in my course work. I still have a few assignments left to do in Section 3. Negotiate Profitable Real estate Deals. I’m booked every night and probably won’t get a chance to do them until this weekend.      People don’t realize that it The Real Estate Investor Training Program is a lot of work and you really have to make the time commitment. If it more...

Finally some face time!

Finally I got these pictures up. It has been a nightmare trying to upload them. I think it was worth it, I am sorry it took so long. Hopefully as you read this you will see the kind of quality people you meet at our events. They are the reason The Trump Power Summit was a success. I’ll describe the pictures top to bottom.              The first picture is of New York City as I was leaving and was taken as I leaned over the guy next to me with the window seat. The second picture is of the room the event more...

Summit Success!

The Trump Power Summit in LA was incredible. Any time you gather 500 people together in a room interested in building their own personal wealth, good things are bound to happen. Giving those people the tools, recourses, and support they need to achieve financial freedom is what it’s all about for me.             I share with them those same goals for myself. I feel lucky that I got to witness the process first hand. I have heard the excitement in a student’s voice when the light bulb goes off for them. That our programs can really change their lives, but there more...

Here today gone tomorrow

Tomorrow’s the big day I am leaving for The Trump Power Summit in LA. The Summit is going to showcase and educate it’s participants on a variety on wealth building disciplines. I am very excited! Not only is the subject matter going to be profitable and interesting, I finally get to meet our students!             I feel that I have developed a real relationship with a lot of them. Even though we have only spoken to each other over the phone, as their soon t be investing counselor, we share the same goals and aspirations. I have missed having that live more...

You've got questions... I've got answers!

Something that distinguishes The Real Estate Investor Training Program from other courses is the fact that it is a supported program. Meaning, this is not the type of course that you purchase and it sits on your coffee table or in the corner of some room. What make’s it different is how interactive it is. The feedback you get from Gary and Mark is invaluable. In keeping with the spirit of the program I have wanted to make the blog a little more interactive for some time.             One of the ways I thought of was to answer the questions more...

Success to Stress

Just to let everyone know my Easter dinner was a huge success. My lamb was cooked to perfection, and the walnut raspberry spinach salad was delicious, but the big hit of the day was my zucchini rollantini. It was so good I thought there was going to be blood shed over my lactose intolerant cousin’s portion. Thankfully no one was hurt and everyone enjoyed themselves. I love to entertain but I am thrilled it’s over. It is a lot of work to feed all those people. I stayed up from Saturday night until six in the morning on Sunday rolling those more...

Off to the City of Angels

I got some exciting news yesterday that I wanted to share with everyone. I will be attending the Trump Power Summit in L.A. the weekend of April 27th. This will be the first time I will get to attend one of these summits and I’m really looking forward to it.             It is going to be great to be able to get out and meet some of our students and blog readers in person. I have wanted to go since we had the last one in Miami. Everyone that I have spoken to that attended it loved it. These summits are more...

Spring Break Saved Me

Things couldn’t have worked out better. Sunday was a miserably cold day. It was windy and raining and I had no interest in going fishing. Instead I got a lot of course work done. Thank you again Mark Sawczuk!             “Understand Real Estate Finance” is still tough but the numbers are starting to make a lot more sense. I’m lucky, this week we are in between sections so we have no school. I guess technically you could say I’m on “Spring Break.” I’m definitely going to use this free time to be a nerd. There will be no partying with the rest of more...

India! Who knew?

As a counselor for Trump University I speak to people everyday that are interested in real estate investment. Each person has a different level of experience and a different interest. The one common denominator is that all of them realize that real estate investing is a great vehicle to reach financial freedom. What has been the most interesting to me are all the different niche markets that people have had success in.      You would really be surprised! I spoke to one man who makes his money doing short sales. I talked to another man who makes a huge profit in tax liens. There are more...

Gary Eldred is SUPERMAN!

I had the live Q & A with Gary the other night and he is my new hero. He gave expert advice to students for almost two hours. He spoke knowledgably on everything from million dollar properties, to foreclosures, to investing in Australia. The most amazing about Gary  is how down to earth he is.      For someone with his academic and financial success he might be the nicest guy in the world. He really was genuinely interested in what the students were thinking about. He even offered to stop by a property a student was looking at while passing through Phoenix on a trip he would be going on later this month. There are more...

Q & A with Gary

I  handed in my final assignment last night so I am done with "Find and Purchase Income Producing Properties." I didn't have a chance to do any work over the weekend. I had a wedding to go to in New Jersey ( congratulations Seth and Leah ). That meant last night I was on  a mission.      Since I got off to a slow start with my vacation, I have set a personal goal to try not to hand in assignments late. Assignment 6 was due last night at 11 pm.  I went home after work , I had some Chinese and dove more...

I Already Feel Like an Investor

I did it! I caught up on all the assignments. I completed Assignment 2 on Saturday. I had to come into the office to catch up on work.  I had 146 emails to go through and when I was done I jumped into the class work. Assignment 2  was cool it was the first assignment you had to use Empire City (the virtual city that the Real Estate Investor Training Program uses to give you the experience of investing without using your own money.) This assignment was about figuring out what neighborhoods you might want to invest in.           Empire City gives you 6 different ways more...

Getting Ahead of Myself

As part of the Elite Real Estate Investor Training Program that Rick and I are signed up for; we are going to get to attend a three day Retreat in either Las Vegas or Orlando on Foreclosures. I know I am getting ahead of myself in that I haven't even caught up on my assignments yet and I'm already thinking of a trip, but I read an interesting article in The New York Post entitled "Mortgaged - Out”. It was all about the collapse of the sub prime mortgage market. This is big news across the country. The article talked about how the collapse is starting more...

Real Estate On The Brain... Even on Vacation

This will be my first foray into the blogging world and I can't tell you how excited I am. I really look forward to the feedback from everyone as I post my progress through the course and as I start to invest. Since I have taken on this endeavor I feel like everywhere I look I see investing opportunities; I just got back from a vacation in the Adirondacks and in between the snow shoeing and ice fishing I was checking out the local real estate flyers to see what the market was like up there. I can't wait until I learn more in the Real more...

Our New Adventure

We have been part of Trump University for almost a year now. More than just co-workers, we are good friends. Even though we have had training in real estate, we have never really put what we know into practice. We have talked about moving forward with Real Estate investing but have never fully made the commitment to do so. After months of talking to our current students, and seeing how our programs were helping them add passive income and build wealth, we made a monumental decision: To stop making excuses and enroll in Trump University’s Elite Real Estate Investor Training Program, more...
