It’s a Man’s World
Can you believe the men won again??? Amazing! So close this time, but still the men get the victory. Kudos! And I have to say, I love watching Piers, he’s so entertaining...and let’s face it, ladies, how charming is a British accent?
So, we’ll start with the Men: When I was first watching the men seeming to disintegrate at the beginning of the task, I was like “here we go again...battle of the super egos”. It’s funny to me that Tito and Lennox never get in the mix of that, here are two of the best fighters in the world and both so professional and mild

Episode Summary: Jennie Finch Is Fired!
With three consecutive losses behind them, it was “do or die” for the women of Empresario this week.
The task was simple. Each team would be given a booth in New York’s theater district for two hours. The team that made the most money selling tickets to Broadway plays would win.
The women chose Marilu to lead them this week. The men picked Vinnie. Those were wise choices, because both Marilu and Vinnie have acted in Broadway shows.
On the night before the selling began, members of both teams pulled out their address books and started calling well-placed contacts

“I am the benevolent dictator... does everyone understand that?” said the ever-entertaining and charismatic Gene Simmons. It sounded like a Gordon Gecko quote straight out of the film Wall Street. And I loved it.
Gene’s style of leadership is your old-school Gordon Gecko-esque, thick-skinned alpha male. And it’s all completely natural. He’s confident in everything he does, believes he is capable of achieving anything and has the consistent mental posture for success. These are all the winning qualities of a true leader. So why was he fired? Ego. Ego is the number reason why so many quality candidates on The Apprentice are

Episode Summary:
Mr. Trump asked Gene if he wanted to leave the Hydra team to become project manager for the women of Empresario this week. Gene eagerly agreed and proclaimed himself “The king of all women.” At Hydra, the men picked Tito to lead their team because of his solid performance over the last two weeks.
For this week’s task, the teams created marketing events in Airstream trailers to promote Kodak’s new Easyshare photo printer. Two Kodak executives would pick the winning promo for its originality, brand messaging - and strong printer sales on promotion day.
At Empresario, Gene announced that his reign

First of all, I want to say hats off to Mark Burnett and Donald Trump for coming up with the best concept for The Apprentice yet - an all-celebrity cast where every task is based on raising funds for charity. This season there really are no losers!!!
The task was to create the best commercial to sell Pedigree dog food to raise awareness of Pedigree’s Dog Adoption Drive. Gene Simmons and Nely Galán were selected by their respective teams to be the project managers. The teams picked Nely based on her TV expertise, but sometimes, as we’ve seen on many of The Apprentice

Episode Summary:
The teams created 30-second television commercials for Pedigree dog food - but with a twist. The commercials had to trumpet the message that Pedigree actively supports dog adoptions through the Pedigree Dog Adoption Drive. The winning commercial would be chosen by Pedigree’s VP of marketing, Rob Leibowitz, who would award $20,000 to the winning project manager’s charity of choice.
Empresario, the women’s team, picked Nely as their project manager because of her vast experience as a television exec. The all-male Hydra team picked Gene because of his powerful contribution last week.
The team leaders took very different tacks. Nely led the

Stefanie Schaeffer, last season’s Apprentice winner on NBC, offers her take on the first episode of Celebrity Apprentice in this exclusive commentary on today’s Trump Blog.
Overall, I thought week one was entertaining and it's clear there will be fireworks throughout. The only shrinking violet in the group has already been fired. In this game, it's eat or be eaten and Tiffany, though beautiful, just lacked the fire.
Mr. Trump is all about being bigger than life and wants to be surrounded by people of the same ilk. Omarosa and Carol Alt both defended themselves, Tiff just didn't. Oh well, lesson learned I guess.
The lesson for

Episode Summary:
Celebrity Apprentice got off to a great start as 14 celebrity contenders competed to earn big dollars for their favorite charities.
Mr. Trump announced that one team would be all-male, and the other all-female. The women chose Empresario for their team name. The men chose Hydra. This week’s task was simple, but tricky. The team that made the most money selling hot dogs on the streets of New York would win. The women chose Omarosa as project manager. The men chose Piers.
Omarosa told her teammates that they could only win if they downplayed their celebrity and focused on selling hot
