The Official Apprentice Blog with comments and editorial by former Apprentice Winners and Trump University Faculty.

Before I start my blog about the Celebrity Apprentice, I want to tell you about a new internet talk show that just might get picked up by a big network. Help the show get picked up by watching the trailer and 11 episodes. Tell us what you think. So, what’s the show about? I’ll give you just a small hint. . . you’ll see 5 former Apprentice stars on the show. Go to www.vibe180.com and find out. Okay, back to the episode about Piers vs Omarosa!
The episode starts out with Piers talking negative about Omarosa. In fact, he says “she is the most venomous person he’s ever met in the past 25 years”. . . it’s hard to believe considering that he is a gossip writer. Piers says that he would never ever work with the female team....he might just be eating his words...the phone rings, and Mr. Trump wants to see everyone in the boardroom. It looks like a little reshuffling is about to happen. So, the first team is Tito, Marilu, Trace, Steven and second team is Lennox, Carol, Omarosa, and Piers. Wow, the battle between Piers and Omarosa will begin now. The task is given in the boardroom, and the task is about sales . . . whoever grosses the largest revenue based on the most horse carriage ticket sales wins the task. During my season, I always liked tasks that were based on pure sales because it was very clear who won and lost. The numbers never lied. When I was project manager on the Universal Studio task, I was very excited to hear that the winner would be based solely on ticket sales. I was a little nervous to go against a team of four females, but I knew that we could create the best sales plan. We ended up winning by over 25 percent, and the numbers certainly didn’t lie. It was a great victory.
Trace is the project manager, and they start making phone calls. Piers is the project manager for the other team and they also start making phone calls. Omarosa is struggling on Piers’ team and he mentions that she is struggling because she doesn’t have contacts like a true celebrity. The next day, Omarosa and Piers have a heated verbal exchange in the van. Piers has her in the corner. He calls her out by stating that she is acting up because she is the only person who didn’t raise any money. Omarosa makes a decision to distract Piers in any way she can. At this point, I’m not sure what’s going on . . . it’s like they are both jockeying for position in the upcoming boardroom. Omarosa continues to mention things about Piers’ family. . . even kids! Yikes, this is definitely overboard. I have two kids, and kids should always be protected from public bashings like this one. I have to side with Piers on this one. . . Omarosa definitely hit him below the belt on this one.
Trace’s team seems to be doing well. They are getting along before the task and all things are going as planned. For Piers’ team, it’s all hell breaking lose. Omarosa is in the face of Piers even after Piers tries to fire Omarosa. It continues and the anger builds even higher. Trace’s team gets Billy Baldwin to show up and go on charity carriage rides with people who bid the highest amount of money. There are fans taking pictures and very intrigued with Billy Baldwin. Side note, it looks like Billy Baldwin is a foot taller than Steven. Hmm, is this where Steven gets small man syndrome? Anyways, on the other team, Piers runs into more trouble with Omarosa. Piers makes an executive decision not to sell any more cheaper tickets so that he can save the supply of seats for his bigger donors. However, Omarosa tries to sabotage this plan by selling cheaper tickets despite Piers telling her not to sell them. This is really getting interesting now. Even Lennox Lewis says that Omarosa has serious venom in her. Wow, this team is really breaking down. As I’m watching this, I ask myself, what would I do in this situation if I was the project manager? First, I don’t think I would have fired Omarosa. I would have had a one-on-one discussion with Omarosa before the task to get her full buy-in and cooperation. If this failed, I would have appealed to her efforts to help the rest of the team. In the end, I probably would have gotten equally frustrated especially if my kids’ names were used to get to my emotions. I really can’t blame Piers for getting so angry in this situation. So the task ends, and the teams are brought back into the boardroom. Piers and Omarosa go at it again, and it seems this argument will never end. Next, Trump announces the winning team, and I’m completely shocked! Trace’s team loses! The producers got me on this one. I was completely shocked that Trace’s team lost the task. Piers’ team won, but it seemed completely unjust, but I guess this happens in business.
Boardroom
Trump starts out the discussion about who should be fired. Each person on the losing team says “nobody” and Trump is left with the most difficult decision to fire somebody who doesn’t deserve to be fired. Trump waffles back and forth a bit, and then declares the ultimate line that nobody will be fired. This has never happened in the history of the show, but it happened tonight.
Who I would have fired?
Omarosa. If rules can be broken to fire nobody, then maybe rules can be broken to fire somebody from the winning team. I thought she went too far even with a guy like Piers.
Top Performers
Lennox. He had to be the peacemaker throughout the most vicious war of words.
Inside Information
The cameras love drama and they love fights. So, don’t be surprised to see so much of Piers and Omarosa.
Business Lesson
You can have difference of opinions, but separate the business and personal stuff. I always tell my company members to discuss, argue, but don’t ever let it get personal. If you want to see a good practice of this, go to www.vibe180.com and you can see a new internet talk show with five opinionated “former Apprentice” stars who discuss, dissect, and argue relevant topics for young professionals. Some of the topics include “Sex in the Workplace” or “Job Hopping” to “Drinking in the Workplace.” So, the concept is simple. Put four opinionated young professionals from different industries around a table and give them a controversial but relevant topic for working professionals. Start the discussion and roll tape. No editing, no script, just roll tape. This is real. This is the Vibe 180 at www.vibe180.com .

Omaraso...not
Celebrities sure have fun...and some dont know how to really work together as a team or it's concept of team-mates. Some did a great Job!~
There is something missing... In Mr. Trump's boardroom...leadership from his team's.
It was great to see George! And we miss the orginal team too!
I believe that if Piers had just been quiet and ignored the things Omarosa was doing and saying, Omarosa would probably have gone back to doing her work and left him alone because she was getting no attention or response from Piers. Sometimes it's good to just keep your mouth shut and stay quiet.
A good example is like a baby crying or a dog barking, if you just wait it out or ignore the fact that they are crying or barking, eventually they will stop because they are not getting what they are wanting(attention or response).
I believe that Omarosa was just defending herself from what Piers instigated, which eventually led to wrong words spoken by both Piers and Omarosa. I am saying this because at the very beginning, Omarosa was just doing her job and Piers right away had to make a mention on a mistake she made just to get a reaction from Omarosa. After name calling, Piers would constantly go back to her and start saying things against her causing chaos because she would respond and arguments would arise. This was happening throughout the whole project and i mainly would blame it on Piers for bringing the situation up again and again. I would call the poor leadership on Piers for not leaving it alone and focusing on the job at hand. Another example is when Lennox tried to keep control of Piers when he asked everyone to vote and raise hands...Piers would constantly bring the same thing up and not listen, creating an argument when no argument was needed.
Omarosa is in the same position because she could have done the same by just leaving what Piers said and did alone by just doing what she was supposed to, instead she decided to retaliate, which just caused more problems. All in all, they were both wrong, but Piers was the main instigator. Piers could not keep control because he was out of control himself.
"Remove the negative and you're just left with the positive"
Still it is similar to an idea that I had that is infinitely more exciting.
Point 1. Apprentice stars are celebrities not ordinary people.
Point 2: There are well over 100 of them- if you include all English language versions.
Point 3. They all have 'successful intelligence' in common.
Point 4: The ordinary people in the world could care less about your opinion- we want to know what makes you different from us and how we can become like you. Talk about what makes you successful- and use all the Apprentice stars- a few at a time- and you may have a show on your hands.
In a boxing match, the two fighters usually test the skills of their opponent before the knock-out punch that deternines who won, who lost, or was it a draw?
It is unreasonable to expect business to flow without any controversy. Piers and Omarosa
know each other by now. Taking cheap shots should be expected. Re: "All is fair in love and
war..."
If you are project manager in a peaceful team and you like it that way, good for you. But don't
expect every player to enjoy this passive attitude, especially when they ALL want the same
thing, TO WIN! Piers and Omarosa are a good match. I can't wait to watch the next round!
To be sure, Omarosa has not done well, however here is where Piers fails entirely.
On Celebrity Apprentice Episode Eight Piers opens the show stating he will never speak to Omarosa again. Knee jerk reaction, I am certain viewers are thinking of their own relationships gone bad and in that moment list those they wished to never speak to again.
Not the case with my experience.
If this show is to be about real winners, in the art of war, do countries tell each other they never want to speak with each other again ?
Even more important would it work ?
In regards to your new website Mr Sun,
It was just yesterday a wise person stated this is a smart career choice for me. Since your website is new would you have any available openings for employment opportunities Mr Sun?
lightwayvez
Like lightwayvez, I was thinking the same thing... why would you bring up Stephen Baldwin's height? Were you just being funny, or what? I don't recall you being an unusually tall guy, yourself. Height is not everything! I've known plenty of obscenely stupid men who were over six feet tall. Stephen DOES NOT suffer from small man's syndrome...at all. He is supremely confident in everything that he does. I've followed his career for a long time, and he is quite comfortable in his skin - and bones (and the size of them).
But, lightwayvez... I'm being candid with Mr. Sun, and he may not appreciate it, so I am certainly not going to ask him for a job, as you did. Insult someone, then, ask them for employment? But, now that I've said that... maybe he will give you a job. I've thought on many occassions that I am doing the politically correct and proper thing, and then someone else does something rude and reprehensible and are thought of highly. Maybe I'm not going about things in the right way. Why does it seem that others are rewarded for ill behavior? I will continue to do the just things, and, eventually, my efforts will pay off. I'm not saying that what lightwayvez wrote was the worst thing in world, but I wouldn't start off an e-mail by pointing out a prospective (in lightwayvez mind) employer's faults. :)
Good luck, Mr. Sun! I'll check out your site.
Omarosa is a person who has very serious issues which need to be addressed. After viewing her behavior who in their right mind would hire her? I know I would not want her and or her type of person in my work place.
