Annie vs. Joan in the Final Battle

If you believe that that only one kind of person can be successful in business, you haven’t been watching Celebrity Apprentice this season. Because Annie Duke and Joan Rivers are the finalists, and two people couldn’t be more different.

Let’s take a closer look at each of them to see what we can learn, starting with Joan.

Joan Rivers
When Mr. Trump asked Joan whether she had enough energy to carry on through the final week, Joan pointed to her long history as a survivor and said that if she had to, she would push the final task uphill using her tongue. That points up her determination and remarkable energy. But she has he weak points too. Let’s take a look.

·     Joan’s strengths: Ability to improvise, energy, flexibility, loyalty, passion, spontaneity and warmth (as long as she likes you).

·     Joan’s weaknesses: Inappropriate favoritism toward a family member, impulsiveness, political incorrectness, inconsistency (one week she loves you, the next she hates you) and lack of ability to implement a long-term strategy to win.

Annie Duke
When Piers interviewed Annie last week, her comments revealed that she has been applying a poker-like strategy through the season. She has raised tons of money, led more winning tasks than anyone else, and avoided harm in the boardroom with near-surgical skill. Yet she too has her deficits. Here’s what I see:

·     Annie’s strengths: Composure, financial resources, long-term planning, network, stamina, strategic thinking and thick skin.

·     Annie’s weaknesses: Egotism (she seems to think that every idea she has is a masterpiece), inability to listen and poor people skills.

Lessons for Your Success

Given my notes above, it is obvious that neither Annie nor Joan would be a perfect candidate to lead a major business enterprise. Yet if you can emulate their strengths and banish their weaknesses in yourself, you will build a compelling success profile.

If you combine their strengths, you will be financially savvy, energetic, flexible, intuitive, passionate, resourceful, warm, thick-skinned and strategic in your thinking.

If you avoid their weaknesses, you will be even-minded and fair, consistent, loyal, and open toward other people’s ideas.

If that is not a formula for success, I don’t know what is.

What Will Happen Next Week?
Of course, I cannot predict with certainty who will win. But let me just say that given Annie’s ability to create a winning game plan and stick to it, Joan has a very hard final competition ahead of her. The winner could be determined by the nature of the task. If it involves raising a lot of money, for example, Annie will have an edge. If it involves lots of celebrity exposure and pizzazz, Joan will have an advantage.

No matter who wins, we have come to this point with two very tough competitors still standing. It is certain to be an exciting season finale. I look forward to seeing you there!

Mr. Trump. Please look at the videos programs and take a good look at Annie. I think she would be a disgrace to have on your program as the winning Apprentice. She shows what kind of person she really is, if you will look and listen closely. She claims "I" did everything--and the program shows she took credit for everything everybody else did, in a smarmy way. Very clever, and they let her get away with it.. Joan Rivers pegged her early on, as did I. Joan may be an antique, like many of us. but she is smart, talented, kind ( her vitriolic remarks are part of her act) but says it like it is. Annie is a real **** and conniver. If that is the way you do business, and the kind of person you like to have working for you, you go way down in my estimation.

I have to say I am infuriated and steaming to see the despicable Joan Rivers make it to final 2. We all understand she's a friend of Trumps but this is ridiculous.

If any other contestant would have failed as miserably as she has in tasks, would he have left them in the competition? If anyone else QUIT and walked out, would he have left them in the competition?. If anyone else behaved the way this old bat did, her behavior and language (and attacks), WOULD MR TRUMP HAVE LEFT THEM IN THE COMPETITION?

We all know the answer to that is no. This lunatic has no business in the final 2. None. He handed it to her. On many occasions she deserved to be fired but the most obvious was the jewelry auction which was all her idea, a horrific ending, she brought in the LEAST of all dollars of any contestant and being a jewelry person, she didn't pick it out herself.. the fact he didn't fire her right then and there showed he kept her 1) for ratings and 2) because of friendship.

We realize reality tv and esp this show are highly fixed for ratings with an unfair outcome, unethical outcome.. but this is truly ridiculous. Joan should have been fired on so many occasions it's just a pathetic example of how this all works-

and separately, look how this looks to society.. her behavior would be acceptable in a work place environment? come on!

I'm embarrassed for the CA name to be behind this scam of a show this season and to top it off, now we find out that Trump's sister in law is on the board of Joan's charity!! WTF!! ???

Trump had every intention from the beginning to let Joan make it to the end- she 100% doesn't deserve to be there, but Trump's ethics are questionable, so here she is, final 2. Now what?

You got the ratings which is all this was about.. you collect the $$$ from the ratins so congrats. The producers of this season show a whole lack of ethics in how this has turned out and if Joan is handed this final win, well wow- congrats on total trash dirty tv. and for wasting our time epecting to see a fair competition. Just wow on how this has all gone down.

Lastly I must add, that everything Joan and Melissa said about others seemed to totally be a descripton of themselves. Totally. I hope Joan rotts in h___., that miserable old bag.

White Trash - someone who is the celeb entertainment on a cruiseliner and their entire show is making fun of 9/11 victims and the 911 widows (Joan).. talk about money that comes from blood on your hands. Joan Rivers is the epitome of white trash.

Sincerely,

A Jewish, middle aged, female, long time professional poker player, animal activists who despises old bats who wear fur.

P.S. I won't be surprised if this post is screened then not posted. Wouldn't want to the truth to get out now would we?

I looked for links to contact Mr. Trump directly, but couldn't find one, so since my idea regards the Celebrity Apprentice, I figured this was the most appropriate blog to comment on.
I am a big fan of the Apprentice and enjoy watching it as well as other reality shows such as The Contender, The Biggest Loser, and American Idol. I love sucess stories. My favorite movies are those of success such as The Pursuit of Happyness, Prefontaine/Without Limits, Remember The Titans, and Hoosiers, to name a few.
My idea for Mr. Trump is that he merge such success stories into his Celebrity Apprentice, perhaps 'creating his next million dollars' for such an idea. Of course, like Annie Duke, I'd have to take credit for it and be quite vocal that it was my original thought...only kidding, of course. The US Army credits soldiers who come up with great ideas that improve the mission, force, supply chain, safety, etc. I thought I'd send an idea up to Mr. Trump and see if he'd bite on it, not for any return to me other than knowing that I owned the original thought, but to actually see if he'd go forth with it. A fun and harmless risk...if it happens, it happens - if not, at least I tried.
My idea is this and it would be win-win for Mr. Trump and NBC. How about doing a Celebrity Apprentice show in which you featured former contestants from another hit reality show? Let's say a season of Celebrity Apprentice where all the contestants are from a previous season of the Biggest Loser...only this time they'd be the Biggest Winner when it came to the 'weigh-in' (boardroom). Or how about using a concept from American Idol in which America votes for the Apprentice that should be fired each particular week? Would Mr. Trump delegate the 'firing' process to the contestants and/or America, or would he retain ownership of that? [I'd have to say though that it would be a bit strange to not see him fire someone!] . Lastly, what about a Survivor or Contender themed Apprentice? Just a thought I have been brainstorming as I've been watching the show week to week. I'd be curious to know what Mr. Trump thinks of it.

Respectfully,

TJ

I've always been a fan of The Apprentice, but after last week I refuse to ever watch it again. It's SO obvious that Joan Rivers made it to the final two due to her friendship with Donald Trump. The show is totally rigged! I'm not a fan of Annie, but I enjoy a fair contest and it should have been Jesse and Annie going head to head. No one even needs to watch the final episode because we already know who's going to win, right? The Donald's BFF.
[-] Posted by member1975698 on 05/10/2009 8:19 PM
Joan Rivers will win this task because Donald has a hidden aganda as far as Joan goes. Maybe he would be afraid she would have a melt down if she loses and that won't be pretty, in addition to his sister-in-law being on the board of Joans charity. Joan should have been fired long ago but the Donald just keeps making excuses for her. Annie Duke is a very good business woman who never stooped to the level of Hagatha. Go Annie, you will not win but we will know you should have.
[-] Posted by member1975728 on 05/10/2009 10:33 PM
If Joan wins I'll never watch apprentice again.

This was an example of left coast mentality verses fly over country. Compare the two charities. One helps people who have lost control of their circumstances, the other enables people who have caused their own problems. Annie could have been a better team player, but who would even want to be on Joan's team.
[-] Posted by member1975756 on 05/10/2009 11:24 PM
I will never watch this show again...or anything with Joan or Melissa River in it. I cannot believe Donald picked that witch...Iam sure it was because of their friendship, senilty, or was it the old age pity vote. Whatever those Rivers women are horrible people and Donald made America endure them. Good bye Apprentice....

i think annie duke should of won. joan rivers did not play the game, she took it to personal. donald trump fired the wrong person.

I just finished watching the final episode of Celebrity Apprentice. I was really surprised that Joan was declared the winner. The last seasons winner, Piers, won because when all was considered, he raised more money, even though Trace was the one that I believe people wanted to win.

This time?? The rules seemed to have changed. Annie definitely was there to 'play the game', and play the game she did. But the winner this season, seemed to be judged only on this last task. Doing this kind of thing in a business world would produce less than acceptable results as workers would not work 'well' for an organization that was run that way.

I am truly disappointed that this seasons Apprentice stooped to a new low. The Rivers women would not be anyone that I would ever do business with or call my friend. The show presented them as a spoiled brat and an overbearing woman who uses words (which is the only thing she knows how to do) to drag people down. Annie seemed to be there to just win. I think she did this without a doubt.

Clint made an interesting comment. When asked who he would fire, he said 'Your editor'. They obviously edited this show to enhance the rivalry between Joan and Annie and up the ratings. I feel it stepped over a line. If Joan truly won this, then I'd like to see the footage that proves it.

I'm truly dissappointed in the outcome...but I'm not the Trump. I know it doesn't matter, but I won't be watching another Celebrity Apprentice after this and I hope many follow suit. This show is now right 'up there' with Jerry Springer notoriety. Not where I would want to be.

My sympathies to all involved with it.

Donald,

I am a member of Penn Class of 1978, I love you. But, tonight you really made a bad choice, which, of course, is unlike you. Annie Duke won every thing, except the heads up. That's the game. Annie knows that and is a real lady, unlike Joan whom I really respected until now. How did this happen?

Donald, you're fired.... I will never watch Apprentice again. You were so in the tank for that vile Joan Rivers. Makes me sick. Fix was in. Done with it. Good bye.

Can someone tell me why, when Melissa Rivers was telling team members that she doesn't speak for her mother, she said that Joan is "82-years-old," while Mr. Trump and everyone else on the show (including the majority of resources I've found on-line) repeatedly stated that she is 75?...
[-] Posted by member1975762 on 05/10/2009 11:44 PM
To no one's surprise, Donnie's friend Joan won. I know the show is all about ratings, but to let Joan sit in the board room week after week and belittle Annie with personal insults over and over again is a complete disgrace and it indicates what a farce the show really is. A real Board Chairman wouldn't put up with such nonsense. Donnie is supposed to be so tough, but I guess he's whipped by Joan for some reason.

I've never been a fan of Joan Rivers and after seeing her real character come through (behind the plastic face) my lack of interest is confirmed. For someone who is 75 years old, she acts more like a third grader. And her daughter is a complete clone.

I can say this will be my last Apprentice. It's such a farce that it isn't even entertaining any more. I'm sure I can find something better to watch on Sunday nights, like Seinfeld reruns. Sorry Donnie but you've lost me with this one.
[-] Posted by member1975771 on 05/10/2009 11:46 PM
(200 character limit)I think Joan's behavior and that of her daughter was nothing short of a disgrace. Say what you want about Annie, but at least she didn't feel compelled to spout obscenities. So much for representing "God's Love"! Choosing Joan was a huge mistake for CA. I'm not watching the show again. It's obviously fixed.

Mr. Trump,

Following your decisions in business as I have you make very few mistakes. Tonight you made a bad one. I am very disappointed in you. You had the tapes you should have reviewed them. Anna didn't lie and you should have called Joan on it .

The final was a joke. They said Joan was a role model - for what being a freak . They gave Dennis all kinds of praise - for what maybe doing a little something on the final episode, where was he when his team needed him from the start? Dennis was another joke in the final episode. The Morgan guy who the @$#@? is he? If it was celebrity apprentice that he won and people do not know who he is thats not to celebrity. Dennis going off on Jesse was also a joke. I feel if any normal person watched the episode would think when Jesse came out and said Dennis needs help is not being mean, rude or any other negative thoughts he obviously has a drinking problem and Jesse said the facts. For Donald Trump to give him credit I thought was a joke. He sure did not like the Kardashian girl for her drinking mistake. Where was she? For the Morgan guy and Donald also to bring up why did Jesse's wife marry him? I think is way out of line. If on to that type of question why did Donald Trumps wife marry him? I'm sure she is capable of making her own money but humm $$$$ I wonder. Who cares how much money Jesse's wife makes - maybe his true friends are normal working people who do not make millions of dollars. I will say I am not all that stupid and I know he has some friends that has way to much money , but I think he should have been in the final 2 and I think he would have brought some of those friends out and not anything to do with his wife. On the hotel episode people were crying about a hair or something here or there Jesse was in scrubbing toilets and on every task was doing his job. Everyone on Clints team had a spat with him and yes Jesse had his but also shook his hand and told him he did a good job. Other than that Jesse I feel did everything that he was suppose to and never got in the drama and thats why he did not make it because the final 2 the show wanted DRAMA and that really sucked. I did not see 1 second of celebrity apprentice 1 and unless Jesse is back for celebrity 3, I won't see a second of that because I found out the DRAMA crap is crap. BUCK

I'm done. I've watched every season, but choosing Joan was the finale for me. Anne excelled throughout the entire season, while Joan Rivers looked and acted like the "Joker" idiot. There was no comparison between the two. Anne was the clear winner. In real business, if someone was compared to Hitler, they would be done. If someone opted for family, over business, they would be done. This show is clearly rigged, so I will never watch another. Who really gives a damn about "Red Carpet" shows? Not me. Annie was the clear winner, and few will disagree.
[-] Posted by member1975781 on 05/11/2009 12:36 AM
The choice was not coorect. Joan should have been fired. She was rude and not at all professional.
I was surprised how she was not fired. She has not been a project manager except in the final show.
In a business world one needs to be professional and decent. Calling somone Hilter is very degrading and a language uncalled for. It is a big mistake to accept such a behaviour.
[-] Posted by member1975780 on 05/11/2009 12:43 AM
I usually watch "The Apprentice" (Celebrity or otherwise) for entertainment. I usually find that I have been entertained to a sufficient degree to continue watching. I do understand that "ratings" play a big role in the decision of whether to "fire" a player or not and I am willing to grant a lot of latitude to Mr Trump in that regard.
That said, I must speak out against the choice to even allow Joan Rivers and her parasitic daughter air time during the least several episodes. The final decision to select Joan with the pronouncement that she is a "role model: was the final straw for me. My days of watching "Apprentice Anything" are over. To praise a woman with such a filthy mouth and hateful heart is despicable. I have done AIDS volunteer work for over 20 years and I don't know a single victim of that disease who would want money rasied wih such hatefulness. AIDS victims know what it means to be the targets of hateful speech and actions and there is not enough money in the world to wash away the stain of what she has said and done in the interest of "her charity."
There's a good reason why she can't raise money amongst the people who "know" her. This is a sad day. I don't love Annie Duke but she outperformed Joan Rivers consistently and without resorting to the fllthy language and behavior of those two rottweilers.
[-] Posted by LarryInFlorida on 05/11/2009 12:47 AM
At first I did not like Annie and she was very annoying but she did ultimately get the job done better than anyone. And in the end this was about charity and business. Also, in the beginning I was a big fan of Joan Rivers and thought wow how much energy she had and she was pretty funny also. But Joan let it get personal and if i remember correctly she wanted Annie to stand up for Melissa. I will have to go back and watch again to be sure. But anyways Joan went on an attack like I could not believe. For people to cheer her on and to say she is great just turns my stomach. I now have no respect for Joan Rivers and at this point do not know if I will even watch next season.

She might have won in 3 of the 5 categories but she was already getting her planner involved when she sabotaged the other planner. As much as I would not have wanted to say it in the beginning, Annie did come out to be the better player, with more honor and integrity, more money for charity, worked ten times harder than anyone else, won the most challenges, and from the way she handled herself under such hateful attacks from Joan that in the end she also came off to me as the better person. In my mind she is clearly the winner.
[-] Posted by member1975792 on 05/11/2009 1:21 AM
I'm never watching the show again, Donald needs to have a fair game. Annie was a better player then Joan. It should have been Annie and Jesse as the final 2. Joan was only in the final 2 because she is Donalds BFF.

Im very disappointed in this show and I feel they do not need to run another season.

Bottom line… Joan quit.. Trump would have fired her if it were anyone else.
[-] Posted by member1975794 on 05/11/2009 1:34 AM
You picked the wrong person to be the Celebrity Apprentice... Annie Duke Should and in my eyes is the Winner... Don't know why you gave it to Joan she didn't do anything but complain about anyone. Your loss... I had respect for the game even when I didn't like the winners all the time but respected why they won... I have no clue why you hired Ms Rivers , if thats the age of people you want to watch you show then it was the right choice for you.. I am done you lost my respect as a viewer when you hired Joan Rivers..
[-] Posted by member1975801 on 05/11/2009 1:56 AM
I have to say I have always loved the show, but I am extremely dissapointed in the fact that Joan & mellissa Rivers acted so bad and Donald Trump really let his friendship with Joan affect his decision, because anyone else would have been embarrassed to have Joan & Mellissa on their show after acting like they did!!! Joan's trash mouth got old really quick, and Donald let her carry on & on & yet always seem to cut Annie short when she very calmly tried to defend herself!!
My opinion of Donald Trump & Joan Rivers has changed trmendously, and not in a good way!!
[-] Posted by member1975810 on 05/11/2009 2:22 AM
I am sorry that Joan Rivers was aloud to make a total A-- out of herself on TV. Joan Rivers is a rude vulgar person. I was a fan of hers until I saw her on this show and I must say I am really not sure I will watch next season. But I know that I will no longer purchase any product that Joan Rivers sells.

All I can Say is that Annie might be a poker player but she has more class than Joan Rivers or her daughter. Donald Trump you made a big mistake picking Joan Rivers but I guess friends comes first.

Annie you can hold your head up high you did a great job and you were very professional. You have class.

wow!......What a wrong desision!....I notice that every board i read, says the same thing,...I can't believe that you Mr. Trump, Robbed Annie Duke of her rightful title....the celebrity apprentice....I watched every episode with an open mind....Annie should of won hands down....My visit to New York will not include your tower....I will not watch any more episodes of this show, I am in udder shock, Trump...YOUR FIRED!!! "It jumped the shark last night".

Donald Trump disappointed me last night. I figured he would let talent and ability win out as he did in the past. It got painfully crude and rude and in the end the one who quit won. Never thought Trump would reward some one who quit.

I guess he wasn't who I thought he was.

The show was great until the end but I won't be tuning in again.
[-] Posted by member1975842 on 05/11/2009 7:04 AM
I give up, my husband and I will NEVER watch this show again, picking Joan Rivers was so typical of Trump, he and Joan deserve each other. She's a loser and if Trump actually watched the same shows we did then he would see it. Joan and Melissa are both pieces of work and I wouldn't trust either of them for a dime. You blew it Donald.....which is what Joan kept calling him and Annie was right, if Joan acted that way in the REAL world she would have been fired a long time ago. Good luck to you Mr. Trump, it won't matter who you have on your show next year, it won't be on in our home.

The former comment today was so good, I could not have said it better. Annie beat the dickens out of everyone, and I would want her in my board room anytime. Joan is such a disgrace now for all the years she was so respected. The following is the former comment:

I will never watch the Apprentice again. I cannot believe you allowed Joan Rivers and her daughter to be so vial with their comments to others. Joan even took aim at her own teammates. Clint Black made it clear at the end when he said to you (Mr. Trump) that he never threw anyone under the bus (did you forget the rampage Joan went on regarding Clint???). Joan and her daughter were throwing multiple people under the bus constantly.

Joan Rivers is your friend and its clear she was going to win, no matter how well the others did.
In real life who would you really have hired to take on the task of getting donations???????

In real life had you allowed any employee to set in a board room and insult co-workers the way you allowed Joan to do, (and you defended her constantly), would have landed you in court with multiple law suits.

You did it for the ratings and I have no respect for you or your show. I thought this show was about business, clearly its about ratings. I guess viewers just wanted to see how many people Joan and her daughter could hurt with their comments. I was completely put off by it and offended by your total lack of leadership to control the situation.

Jesse is the only one to get it right. Given the fact that you put Joan and Annie in the final two, Annie should have won. Joan should have been fired weeks ago, but you were afraid no one would continue to watch your show.

Good Luck

OK so the show is over and it ended just as we all thought it would. If this is the way Trump runs his company then no wonder why he has had so many bankruptcies.

If he feels that Joan Rivers is a role model and that she played the game with honor then I would love to know who her considers dishonorable? Why was he letting Joan Rivers and Melissa spout such vulgarities and accusations at Annie and as soon as Annie opened her mouth to reply he would tell her to stop.

It amazes me that he has two kids that seems to have it all together, but then again, Ivanka did raise them, she probably doesn't think of Joan as a role model, thank goodness. Hopefully Marla doesn't either.

I have a question for the Donald, do you watch your own show? If you did you would have known that Annie is not a liar as Melissa and Joan kept saying during the final. Also, anyone, especially a Jewish woman to use Hitlers name at all then to say, what was it she wouldn't put Hilter down by comparing him to Annie. If it was anyone else there would be groups all over the world screaming for that person to be punished. Joan is repulsive and Melissa is right behind her. I will not watch the Apprentice again, which is too bad because I always enjoyed it.

Donald you blew it......

I was a long time watcher and fan of the show. I will never watch it again. This was the worst finish ever. Annie was the clear winner and you jumped the shark and chose your freind instead of the person who deserved it.

You really blew it I know at least 5 people i watch this with are done watching anythin Trump puts on TV...

Way to blow it Donald.

Oh yea I think your Lucky Jessie didn't get up and wack you in the head.

I was very disappointed that Joan Rivers was in the final two with Annie Duke. Even though Annie was an "I" person, she never offended Ms Rivers with name calling and the rudeness that Ms Rivers showed Annie. I was offended with Ms Rivers behavior. I think that Ms Rivers was in the final two because she is a friend of Mr Trump's and because of her age. I watched the program last night but don't think that Mr Trump watches the show. How in the world could he condone such juvenile behavior as was shown by Ms Rivers? He picked the wrong person. He showed a poor sense of judgement. I guess when you have that much money, you can put the pawns where you like and play the players as you wish. I'll think twice before watching this show again.

What a Joke

I will never watch again.

I hope this is what you wanted Trump. I used to respect you.... Now you are a joke to me. Way to jump the shark....

Your raitings will suck next year Hide and Watch

I wish that this note could reach Mr. Trump or the appropriate personnel.

Celebrity Apprentice is not only entertaining but also educational. I believe that our youths who watch the show could learn some decision making and leadership skills.

On another note, I have been very impress each time a team won and the project manager of that team had the opportunity to select a charity of his/her choice.

Having said that, I think this year show was the best yet. However, it would be interesting to see an upcoming show with a slightly different spin. That is, considering smart contestants who are strongly affiliated with charitable organizations because of a disease that plague them or a family member. For example, having a kidney transplant contestant whose winnings would be donated to the National Kidney Foundation or any Kidney Charity; a heart patient who many have had bypass surgery and if wins, the money donated to the Heart Association; a diabetic patient and his/her winnings donated to the Diabetes Association; a cancer survivor whose winnings will go to the Cancer Society, and the list goes on.

I believe it would be encouraging for viewers to see patients who have battled some of the debilitating diseases, and in turn inspire viewers to remember these charities with their own donations.

I look forward to the next season and hope that it is as interesting as this year. Well done.

I have never ever posted a comment on any show or blog before. I also understand ratings play a very large roll in these shows but this was ridiculous. I have lost all RESPECT for Trump, CA, Melissa Rivers, and especially Joan Rivers. Joan presented herself in a despicable manner. I wanted to write all that she did, but after I wrote it out, it was so nasty I felt bad for even saying it in a blog. How could she say those things in person to Annie? I was shocked and even angered. Some else called her "white trash". How sad is that? I think I agree. Please Joan, watch the show back and see if you can live with yourself.
ANNIE was the clear winner here. She played this game perfectly. She out witted, out smarted, and outperformed all other players. How she held her poise and composure throughout the show is beyond me. Congratulations Annie! I respect and admire you. Don’t be surprised if something really big comes of this. I hope we see much more of you in the future. I will now watch you play poker as well as follow any other career path in store for you. Again, Congratulations.
Mr. Trump, I have respected you for 30 years with your ups and downs in business. What happened on CA was inexcusable. You personally allowed Joan to Quit, threaten, berate, assault, cheapen, violate, disrespect, embarrass, and insult; your show, you, your family, your cast, crew, and America.
You’re FIRED!!

PS Even the event planner ditched Joan and your show after only a few hours with Joan Rivers. Annie was blindsided and STILL got the job done. Way to back up one of the ALLTIME BEST CANDIDATES on your show.

signed, unimpressed

Joan Rivers was so obnoxious during the boardroom sessions, it was difficult to watch. She constantly interrupted, even when she knew nothing of what had happened. She showed herself to be not only obnoxious, but totally vicious.

Annie was not only smart, capable, and professional, she remained calm under all those attacks throughtout. She was not only THE BETTER PLAYER, she carried herself at all times with grace and dignity.

Annie, YOU are the role model here, not that hag Joan Rivers.
[-] Posted by member1976145 on 05/11/2009 2:16 PM
We as viewers have our own opinions who should have been crowned the winner and rightfully so. However, I think many of us failed to acknowledged what were the criteria for the final tasks.

Be as it may, Annie played a strategic game from start to finish. She displayed many project management techniques: planning, organizing and controlling. Although there were times she was skillful in controlling the task when she was not the project manager. I give her credit for being the team player that she was and stepping up to the plate so as to help her team in anyway possible from loosing the assigned task.

As for Joan, she did not come across as the "easiest" person to get along with when it came to assigned tasks that she was familiar with and that had proven to be successful. To me, she was not receptive to trying new ideas having known of other methods that had been successful. However, she did give credit if her disapproved method worked and her team was successful. With Joan, she was upfront, one knew how they stand by her; she called a spade a spade. She did not tell the players what she thought they wanted to hear.

Having said all that, the final task was the one to determine the winner. In my honest opinion, regardless how well Annie played the game and her win would have been deserving, she did not get the most points which was awarded by Kodak. No matter how annoying Joan came across at times, she pulled it out in the very end to secure the win.

If the winner was to be determine by taking into consideration the final tasks PLUS who won the most challenges and raised the most money, then no doubt Annie would have been a clear winner, hands down!!

All in all, I think Annie and Joan would be remembered for their forcefulness on Celebrity Apprentice.

Watched the finale of The Celebrity Apprentice last evening and what a major disappointment! Between Donald Trump's massive ego and the nonstop whining of the Rivers ****s, I just will not watch it anymore. Now they have Donal Trump arriving in limo with the royal music playing. I wanted to puke!

Joan and Melissa Rivers are two despicable human beings! Their incessant ****ing and sour ugly pusses are too much for America to handle. Annie Duke was by far the superior strategist and better player and yet she lost to a miserable old woman who has done nothing in her career but annoy people. The Donald never gave Annie a chance to redeem herself nor took a moment to find out the truth about the fact that it WAS Joan that made the party planners quit. As usual, DT was thinking of his own flabby ass and what Joan Rivers might say about him in the future. He bent over backwars for her and her despicable daughter and never really gave them what they truly deserved: A big kick in their collective ass! Worse than this, DT goes on to say they are a role model to America. Oh, please! That is all we need is a bunch of whiny, sore losers looking up to this plastic surgery debacle! Frankly, I do not know who is tougher to look at: Joan with her stretched face and cat like eyes or the naturally ugly face of her daughter. What a disgusting pair! The only thing uglier is their miserable attitudes!

Donal Trump is concerned about one thing: Donald Trump! He has flipflopped so may times over the years and just likes to hear homself talk. He may have money but he is as big a loser as the Rivers are. Annie Duke deserved to win that show, hands down. She surpassed that old bag in everything she did, she kept her cool, and was a class act. Joan debased herslef and all Jews by referring to Annie as Hitler and using terms like Buchenwald. What a disgrace to her beautiful religion and her peers. It is no wonder that the only loser celebrity to come to her aid was that Griffen pice of work. Kathy is luck to not be on the unemployment line!

All in all, The Celebrity Apprentice is one big bust!!!!
[-] Posted by member1976236 on 05/11/2009 3:49 PM
I cannot believe you picked that foul-mouth Joan Rivers over Annie. Joan did nothing but bad-mouth Annie and you let her do it. The show winner(Joan) was decided from the start. No real contender would ever be able to quit the show and let back in like you did. Does Joan and her yappy daughter have something on you? You would not listen to Clint or Jesse. You did listen to Dennis, the drunken hasbeen. My family will never watch another Celebrity Apprentice show and definitely any show with Joan Rivers or her daughter in it. I really looked up to you, Donald, but now my view of you has changed.

Well I along with everyone else it looks like am VERY Disappointed in Donald Trumps so called decision. Did he pay any attention to his own show this year. Joan did NOTHING other than run her mouth off. I was so sick and tired of looking at her plastic face. Annie Duke was and is an awsome worker even when she wasn't in charge, she always raised the most money and look how much she raised the last task 400 thousand friggin dollars that should null and void anything else. Hello mr trump were you not paying attention to the work and not blah blah blah talking. I mean you wouldn't even let Annie talk in the board rooms gimme a break.

This too was my LAST APPRENTICE you lost another viewer :(

I hope he's reading these!!!
[-] Posted by member1976305 on 05/11/2009 6:21 PM
Jone Rivers is all about being fake, inside and out. Donald Trump rewards Jone Rivers' unprofessional behaviors in the boardroom by choosing her as his apprentice, I wonder about his integrity as well. This types of dishonest and disrespectful business ethics and behaviors are what causing America in trouble today! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. This show is not about teaching America making better business decisions, it's just a stupid cheap soap opera! What a joke!
[-] Posted by member1976341 on 05/11/2009 7:16 PM
Would Joan Rivers have won if she was not a good friend of Donald Trumps? She complained about everthing and everyone, she through a tantrum when her daughter was fired. She walked off the show at that time. "Shows real sportmenship". She even lied on national Tv, where everyone saw that the cordinator was fed up with Joan Rivers and quit, why wimpy Clint Black didn't say something, he was there when it happened. Joan was so rude, to Anne, she wouldn't let Anne speak, was she afraid of the truth comeing out?......I wasn't crazy Anne but she did the better job, she didn't put down everyone, and she did a good job at what she did. Trump said Joan bought in Celeberitys at the last chellenge, they weren't the real thing, give us a break. At least Anne bought in real Celeberitys. Mr. Trump if you going to have these show, play fair, don't pick your friends to be the final one. We all knew who was going to win, as we seen it online that Joan had opened her big mouth and said she had won even before the finale show. Maybe you should pick the viewers to tell you who should be fired. At least they see what is going on and how others act, that you don't see, or if you do you don't care. You made a very "WRONG" decission Mr. 'Trump
[-] Posted by member1976267 on 05/11/2009 7:34 PM
Wow, how on earth did Joan Rivers ever win that? Was The Donald watching the same show I was? All of the other posters are spot on, Annie should have won, she raised the most money, never made a personal attack in the boardroom, kept her composure while being maligned by the Rivers women, and raised way more money than anyone else. Did he decide to forget past performance and go only with whomever won the last task? I mean, how can he defend that decision except to say that Joan is his friend, her charity has family ties, and he just kinda felt like picking her?

And give me a break, if ANYONE else has caused the party planner to pull out - which screwed the other team over - Donald would have had a sh*t fit! He glossed right over that like it was no big deal. That's likely the only reason Annie lost the final challenge! She had such a succint explanation of what she wanted done and how the room would look, whereas Joan was so wishy washy and couldn't give the guy a single idea except the word "fantasy" and three color choices. The only reason she did better with the party was because she had more contacts in the city than Annie did to help her out because of the drama SHE caused. Annie was screwed out of that win because of Joan's attitude and Trump's biase towards her.
[-] Posted by member1976396 on 05/11/2009 9:11 PM
I think you should have fired them both. Obviously Joan has a lot of advisers for her business. If she ran it in the same manner as she behaved and performed on the Celebrity Apprentice, she would be bankrupt for sure. Annie is definitely not the type of person you want in your organization if you are looking for a productive team environment. We used to have parties for folks like her in our organization when they moved on, but of course it was for us to celebrate their exit so they weren't invited.

All in all, except for the last episode, it was a pretty good show, but when you decide to hire and fire based on your morals, Mr. Trump, you should be consistent. And don't fix the ending for ratings next time. Why not pick some folks that could truly have that rivalry and make it a real contest?

Cheers from Canada.

It was my first and LAST season to view. I wish Annie Dukes charity was based on helping people in the USA, but there is NO way that Joan won. I totally agree with most of these posts.
#1 Joan walked out
#2 You cant get personal and call names
#3 I think Joan was totally favored
It WAS Joans fault that the designer quit. Her team had no real stars in attendance, and didnt raise crap for money! I dont really like either of them (joan or annie) but Annie shouldve won. I watched every week and those are hours of my life I cant get back hahahahaha. Mr. Trump, please, you blew it.

I watched Apprentice for the first time. I will not watch again. Trump, you are running a bad boardroom. This was trash TV. You should be ashamed. Joan Rivers has no class, none. She is a bad example. Trump, you are in the same category. This was bad television.
[-] Posted by member1976409 on 05/11/2009 9:31 PM
I've always enjoyed watching the show, and have this season as well. I like the 'Donald’s' hard nosed no-nonsense 'take no prisoners' approach. Like it of not that's how business works. He has no time for crybabies, despises quitters and sees through games, and in most cases fires the weakest person. When he sacked the gal who had a drinking problem, I didn't agree since she was taking steps to resolve the problem, but I understood since the CA ‘brand really can’t have this image. Then there was Dennis R. who put on quite a show, Jesse was right he has a problem, but the Donald did the right thing and gave him the toe….so far the Brand remains consistent.

Then there was the whole deal between Joan and Anne…makes for good TV but Anne outclassed, outworked, out earned Joan in spades….a clear winner. Joan had foolishly left the show when her daughter correctly was fired and should have been turfed immediately. Instead she was given a ‘free pass’…never before seen on CA. The brand took a hit. In the final, when Joan won after Anne won three times as much money, never lost a task…..brutal.

So what is the Brand now because it certainly is not about business. I think the show just lost a ton of credibility!

[-] Posted by member1976451 on 05/11/2009 11:05 PM
Wow, what a joke. I will never watch this show again that's for sure. Joan Rivers and her daughter are ridiculous! And while I have to admit I loved to watch those two destroy themselves and ratings is what it's all about. But Trump could have at least picked the right one in the end. Annie was ROBBED and the integrity of this show is no more. Sorry Mr. Trump, but your lack of picking the clear winner of the GAME has caused you to lose a viewer.
[-] Posted by member1976453 on 05/11/2009 11:09 PM
I really can’t understand how Donald Trump could preside over a meeting in a board room and allow Joan Rivers to behave in such an unprofessional and antagonistic manner. It was really a shame and I am sure that real executives and trained business professionals all over the country were appalled. It was a game and Annie was competitive. She pursued her tasks with intelligence and class. She wanted to win and worked hard to win her tasks.

I have to conclude that Donald Trump lacks integrity and it is apparent that he planned to declare Joan the winner anyway since they are longtime friends. He never once made an effort to stop Joan from disrespecting and hurling insults at Annie. That is unacceptable in any real world workplace. There is a zero- tolerance rule for that kind of disrespect and he never addressed it. All the name-callings and insults were certainly not warranted. Joan is a senior citizen who has reached a plateau in her career – a comedienne - and took out her frustration of suddenly being and anonymous b**ch on poor Annie.

Congratulations to Annie. She did a wonderful job and displayed great strength and intelligence. I love the way that she handled her tasks and liked her leadership style. I thought that she really rose to each task and handled herself in a very commendable manner despite those vicious attacks made on her by Joan.

To Dear Annie Duke: You were AWESOME. How could ANYONE sit there, week after week, and take such crass, low-life, filth and rage and degrading comments from another person and then come back the next week and do the same all over again. Annie, you were professional, polite, and solid. I am looking for your personal address to tell you such, personally.

To Donal Trump: I, like others on this Blog, will NEVER watch ANYTHING Donald Trump or Joan or Melissa Rivers EVER again. Joan was heartless, cruel, mean, disgusting, vile, and yes, a LIAR. SHE did indeed cause the event planner to quit. She is despicable. There really aren't enough words to describe the anger and disgust that she brought up in me, as I watched her tantrums and outbursts, week after week. How dare anyone call her a role model. Disgusting! She is not only despicable, but she was an absolute horror and did a universe of disservice for her charity. I would never give to that charity also .... because of Joan River's as it's spokesperson.

May The Apprentice and CA go down the tubes and loose all viewers ..... even as you've lost my respect.

Mr. Trump, you got it right last year and you certainly got it right this year!! Character matters!! Congratulations, Joan!!!!!!
[-] Posted by member1974444 on 05/12/2009 2:35 AM
TRUMP, YOU'RE FIRED! I KNOW YOU'RE GOING THROUGH SOME NASTY LAWSUITS RIGHT NOW AND NEED TO MAKE SURE JOAN RIVERS' POTTY MOUTH DOESN'T TURN ON YOU, BUT YOU REALLY OUTDID YOURSELF THIS TIME. JOAN RIVERS HAD NO BUSINESS BEING THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE AND TO SNUB ANNIE DUKE IN FAVOR OF JOAN WAS A HUGE MISTAKE/CALCULATION IN JUDGMENT.

I'M GLAD THIS BOARD IS STANDING UP FOR ANNIE DUKE.

JOAN COULDN'T GET A JOB WITH THAT ATTITUDE, LET ALONE KEEP ONE. SHE'S LUCKY SHE'S A TALENTED COMEDIAN, AND THOSE COMEDIC SKILLS GARNERED ANY SUCCESS SHE ACHIEVED AS SOMEONE WHO'S "RUN HER OWN COMPANY FOR TWENTY YEARS". THE POINT IS PRECISELY THAT IF IT WEREN'T HER COMPANY, SHE COULD NEVER GET THE JOB.

HER PERSONAL ATTACKS, NAME-CALLING, OVERLY EMOTIONAL DISPOSITION, POOR EXECUTION, DEFENSIVENESS, AND CLASSLESS BEHAVIOR SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REWARDED.

MELISSA RIVERS DOUBLE-DOWNED ON HER HIDEOUS LOOKS WITH AN ATROCIOUS "ENTITLEMENT" PERSONALITY...THE RESULT OF HAVING POOR/ABSENT PARENTS. AND THEY COLLECTIVELY HAD THE NERVE TO CALL THEMSELVES "HONORABLE PLAYERS"? ANNIE DUKE SHOULD HAVE CHALLENGED THEM ON THAT , PLUS TAKEN THEM TO TASK FOR ATTEMPTING TO DEFINE HER AS TWO-FACED.

THE REAL TWO-FACED WITCH IS MELISSA RIVERS, WHO SET TIONNE (TBOZ) UP FOR SELF-EXECUTION BY ASKING FOR "VOLUNTEERS", AFTER HAVING DONE HER RESEARCH AND KNOWING DAMNED WELL THAT SEASON TWO'S BRADLEY GOT FIRED FOR "VOLUNTEERING" TO STEP DOWN. HONORABLE GAME, MY *SS.

IT IS WOMEN WHO KEEP WOMEN DOWN IN THE CORPORATE WORLD BY THEIR INABILITY TO COMPETE IN A CLEAN GAME, AND THE RIVERS PROVED THAT IN THIS SHOW.

AS TO THOSE WHO INSISTED JOAN RIVERS WON THE LAST TASK: BALONEY. TRUMP MENTIONED THAT AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT--AFTER PIERS BROUGHT IT UP--BUT PRIOR TO THAT, HE HAD NOT CONCLUDED THAT ANNIE LOST THE TASK. THOUGH JOAN WON 3 OUT 5 CRITERIA, EACH CRITERIA DOES NOT HOLD EQUAL WEIGHT. JOAN WON ON "CELEBRITY TURNOUT", "PARTY ATMOSPHERE", AND "INTEGRATION OF THE KODAK BRAND". WHILE THE LATTER IS IMPORTANT, THE FIRST TWO ARE NOT PARAMOUNT. ANNIE WON ON "FUNDRAISING" AND "KNOWLEDGE OF CHARITY", TWO VERY IMPORTANT CRITERIA. PLUS, SHE OUTRAISED JOAN--NOT 2 TO 1, NOT 3 TO 1, BUT 4 TO 1. THAT SHOULD HAVE CARRIED A LOT MORE WEIGHT! IN BUSINESS, IF ONE EMPLOYEE BROUGHT IN $1.4M IN SALES AND ANOTHER $4.5M IN SALES, WHO WOULD YOU KEEP? FUNDRAISING ISN'T EVERYTHING, BUT A 4 TO 1 MARGIN AND WINNING TWO (IMPORTANT) OUT OF FIVE CRITERIA SHOULD HAVE PUT ANNIE OVER THE TOP.

AND NO, JOAN IS NOT MORE WELL-LIKED THAN ANNIE; SHE'S JUST BEEN AROUND LONGER AND HAS MORE LOYALTY AMONG THE PLAYERS. TRUE, ANNIE WAS NOT WELL LIKED EITHER, NOT BECAUSE SHE ISN'T A HOUSEHOLD NAME, BUT BECAUSE SHE DEMANDED RESULTS FROM HER TEAM!

TRUMP TOOK THE PEOPLE WHO INVESTED IN THE BAJA PROJECT TO THE CLEANERS; THIS WAS HIS IMAGE REDEMPTION. UNFORTUNATELY, IT CAME AT ANNIE DUKE'S EXPENSE.

ANNIE DUKE IS THE REAL CHAMP HERE, AND BEING NOT JUST A POKER PLAYER, BUT AN EDUCATED POKER PLAYER, MAKES HER THE REAL WINNER IN MY BOOK!
[-] Posted by member1976629 on 05/12/2009 9:29 AM
In previous Apprentice finales, DT always congratulated both contestants, then said to the winner "You're HIRED!" This was the first time he said "You're FIRED" at the finale. Worse yet, he did so with no explanation as if it were just to humiliate Annie Duke. Ever since the Rivers meltdown and Joan's return I could see Trump putting a negative spin on Annie and showing favoritism toward Joan. I suspected then that he would choose Joan, but I watched hoping that he would do the right thing. Of course I was disappointed. Just for fun, try to imagine that this was the regular Apprentice and not Celebrity Apprentice and Donald Trump awarded the winner a one-year contract running one of his projects. Odds are that Joan Rivers would either 1) be unable to handle the job, or 2) botch things up shamefully. Now place Annie Duke in that scenario. Seems to me that from a business standpoint it's a no-brainer. Annie Duke has the intelligence, drive and determination to succeed at whatever she sets her mind to doing. Sure, she has an ego, but it is no bigger than the ego of Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers or Trump himself!
[-] Posted by member1974014 on 05/12/2009 11:19 AM
Get over it people! Trump made his decision and as chairman of the board, that is the final answer. The fact that any of us watch reality TV is because we like to see such drama (as does Rodman). It is 'Celebrity' Apprentice...what did you expect to see?
[-] Posted by member1976592 on 05/12/2009 11:23 AM
I couldn't say it any better than this...except to add that Joan Rivers and Donald's sister-in-law (Blaine Trump) are involved in Joan's charity. Annie never had a chance.

I've been a fan of this show since the beginning, but Donald Trump has just bent over and let the ratings take over. Joan Rivers had no place in the finale of this show, let alone winning it. She should have been fired the 1st time she walked out.

The two who should have been in the finale were Annie Duke and Jesse James. Annie raised the most money of all the contestants, something that was constantly being harped on until the end when Piers and others said it wasn't the most important thing (go figure), and Jesse James has the much better head for business as he started his company, West Coast Choppers, out of a friends garage and grew it into a company with 500+ employees. Yet, everyone was mad because he didn't call his wife for help. What a joke!

I've lost all respect for Donald Trump, Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers (what a tantrum that girl can throw), and the whole Apprentice show in general. You, Mr. Trump, are the real loser...

Successful women in business do not cry, become hysterical or throw temper tantrums. As Annie Duke said, it would be unacceptable behavior in any boardroom in the country. The selection of Joan Rivers as CA was a slap in the face of every female in this country. It is this kind of attitude that has held women back for centuries and will continue to do so as long as we have shows like this perpetuating this kind of stereo typical behavior.

Who would have thought Sunday night's episode of CA could be so symbolic of what women have to fight in the workplace every day of their lives. As long as we do the expected -- look pretty, act hysterical or sexy, we are tolerated. If we are tough, smart, savvy, resiliant, and outwork all the men in the room ... well, we are fired.
[-] Posted by member1977146 on 05/12/2009 7:10 PM
The Verdict is in. Annie Duke won. Check out any blog about this. The responses are overwhelmingly in favor of Annie.

If we are to use the same standards that made Piers the first Celebrity Apprentice, then Annie won.

You can give the tiara to Joan, but it doesn't change the fact that Annie raised far more money than Joan. It is embarrasing to witness Mr. Trump giving $250,000 to Joan for raising $150,830 when Annie raised more than what Mr. Trump gave out as the final reward. Annie raised $465,725 on the last task alone. Annie raised more for Refugees International on that one task than Joan and Mr. Trump together raised for God's Love.

I would rather have Annie Duke fund raising for me than both Rivers (and a Trump).

I'm disappointed Mr. Trump. I thought you were better than that.

I became very upset at how the finale ended, especially when Mr. Trump kept saying what a great "role model" Joan Rivers was. Now, I love Joan Rivers, but I thought her attitude toward Annie Duke was despicable, her actions were FAR from admirable, particularly her childish name calling, which was highly offensive and unwarranted. She was a LONG WAY from what I would consider a good role model.

I was also wondering why it seemed as though the Trumps were, obviously, NOT WATCHING their own show. They seemed COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS to what was going on around them, and they were supposed to be PAYING ATTENTION. The show itself included scenes that verified what Annie TRIED to say about the reason the event planner quit, but was never allowed to, and Trump did her a GREAT DISSERVICE by not allowing her to explain, without being rudely interrupted by Joan. Their own cameras showed that Annie did nothing to anger her event planner, and that the owner quit because of Joan. But they also quit on the whole show, which didn't speak well for the show itself. Why didn't you seem to know about all this?!! It was a joke, and made you all look quite stupid!

I admire Joan for her stamina, but Annie Duke was more creative, and raised FAR MORE money, & was no worse in doing it than Piers Morgan was last year, and he won. She even beat Clint Black in a jingle writing contest for crying out loud! The woman deserves WAY more credit than she got!

Donald, your favoritism was obvious, and it really ruined this year's show! I won't bother to watch again, as all I need to know is who you like best, and I'll know who is going to win! You really blew it this season, and you owe a HUGE apology to Annie Duke!

No more Apprentice for me. Your loyalty to Ms Rivers has cost you millions of fans. She was the CLEAR loser in many respects.

Attn: NBC, take notice to all these blogs, and the passion it took to not only spend time registering to this site, then taking even more time to spill their disgust about the shows ridiculous ending.

It does my heart good to read all the pro-Annie comments. I do not regularly post on blogs, but I was so upset after the finale that I HAD TO. I had to put the words down SOMEWHERE to show how I felt about the whole charade. Watching Joan Rivers foam at the mouth WAS VERY UNPLEASANT. For her to be allowed to continue, week after week, was stupid. Why was that, Mr. Trump? For the sake of the ratings? I'd like to point out to you that if you anger your viewers, you will not continue to have good ratings. This may have been a tactical error.

For me, I feel manipulated into responding to the shenanigans, and then slapped in the face by having Joan win and be called a role model. A ROLE MODEL? For what? How to be a shrew on television? And the next day I saw her on a television show and she was cracking jokes about the whole thing. What a despicable human being.

I don't think this show is worth watching any more. Trump's ego has finally surpassed his reasoning.

I had GREAT RESPECT for Trump for everything he did except the last episode of this season. When he chose Joan Rivers, trump clearly went out of his way, the normal business his life style way. When he says "Its not personal its just business" WELL WELL ... looks like Mr. Trump not a man of his word, is he .. If i had the choice to hire Annie or the 75 year old crazy women. I will go for Annie 100% in a business. Maybe ill pick Joan over Annie for a clown show. Annie clearly was the better player, even his son and evanka said it clearly she was the best player entire the show.. she raised the most money, no comparison.
But in conclusion this is what i figured out. Even Mr. Trump with all his billions cant stand not even in a silly tv show against JEWS. Hes just too afraid, sorry Trump .. you disappointed me in every way possible.

"YOUR NOT A MAN OF YOUR WORD"

Last thing, Annie charity was much more needed than Joan Charity ????? Come On ... i will never watch this show again , and its not just me by the way

Heres the thing...I have read Donalds books and have been a fan of the Show. I feel used and like a pawn in Donalds ratings game. Joan didn't deserve to win much less be in the finale, it was a set up by Trump to get his show renewed for next year, well he succeded, but at the expense of a lot of loyal fans will NOT be watching next year, me included. Also he and the Rivers monsters have lost respect and fans at the revolting way they acted on the show. The way I see it its a lose lose for the Donald and those two ugly freaks. Annie Duke came out of this great, who even knew her name before this and every one thinks she should have won. WAY TO GO TRUMP your losing it buddy and I am not talking about your hair.

NO MORE APPRENTICE FOR ME!
DONALD TRUMP will soon have all the JERRY SPRINGER fans!
YES! Donald's sister-in-law is on the board for Joan's Charity!!
Fixed? Probably.
Donald Trump's Apprentice is now almost equal to the Jerry Springer Show.
What happen to marketing challenges? Team Players?
Trump kept instigating fights between the team members. He also seem to get his jolly's exposing negative behavior out of them. Putting them in situations where they could mess-up and making sure the cameras were there to capture it.
The smart ones did not budge (i.e. Jessie). The Rivers gals (I will not say ladies) made spectacles of themselves.
And guess who won?

No more for me! Cheers..

If we're looking at performance on the show, let's evaluate the subject behavior of Joan Rivers. The inability to separate personal from professional was clearly epitomized during this show. The emotional demonstrations and personal attacks on a competitor clearly indicated she lacked the ability to compete on a professional level. Truly a sad outcome and in any board room across America, her personal attacks would have resulted in her firing.
Overall, it appears this show was "staged", this seasons show was the reality equivalent to Vince McMahon's WWE.
Based on performance, Jesse James and Annie Duke should have been the last two standing.

I never seem to be pleased with the winner on Celebrity Apprentice however I do not like Annie so I guess it was the lesser of two evils.

I wanted to make a suggestion regarding Jesse James always being asked to use his wife's money and his wife's influences to get money. If you want Sandra Bullock's money and influential friends then get her to play the Celebrity Apprentice and leave poor Jesse alone.

Also, I would like to suggest that you get Ashton Kutcher to play on celebrity apprentice next season. That would be an awsome show. He twitters and I bet he could bring in a billion dollars if he wanted to. Some of the celebrities do not have the influential friends and they seem boring sometimes.

Don't think that I am going to be one of those mamby pamby loser whiners that says that they will never watch the show again because I will be there with bells on!!!!

To the people that will never watch the show again - good riddance!

Why is everyone surprised? Honor or integrity are not nor words that I have ever heard anyone use to describe Trump. He is as rude and as abusive as Joan so no surprise he picked her. To allow Joan to compare Annie to Hitler showed how little respect Trump has for the people who were killed by him. In what boardroom and in what world would this be allowed. That's right Trump land! Shame on NBC for allowing it. Joan is a liar and so is her daughter as all could see who watched the show. Guess she is not a good friend of Trumps or it would have been edited to paint her in a better light. Or maybe this was the best they could do. Joan reminded me of Hitler and her daughter of Sgt Schultz. To me the trash was Rivers and Trump. Hitler? Come on, you showed how little you think of what he did to the human race, and encouraged others.

Well, I just found this site, so I'm a little behind.

Joan Rivers needs some SERIOUS head shrinking.

It was pretty obvious that Mr. Trump favored her or she
would have NEVER NEVER NEVER made it into the
finals.

I've never witnessed such mental illness displayed
by a celebrity on television.

Annie Duke may have taken a lot of credit that she did
not deserve but...she lost in spite of the fact that throughout
the entire program, she beat the socks off the "old goat"
Rivers.

Joan: Get some help!! Or as I like to say to folks like you:
Sea Kelp! (no, they don't usually get it)

Annie: You're a winner in MY book any day of the week.

Used to be a huge fan of Apprentice, but like many others,
now that I know how biased The Donald is, I won't be
watching any more. It's just not fun to watch a game that's
rigged.

Joan won because she deserved to win, PERIOD. Annie proved that she is not trustworthy enough to work for Mr. Trump; she doesn't know the meaning of the word LOYALTY. She misquoted Joan with the Hitler comment, and then tried to use the incident to gain sympathy over and over and over and over, again. She's a rotten person on the inside, and I wouldn't spit on the best part of her. She's absolutely disgusting. She makes enemies as fast as she makes money.
