First-time real estate investor uses knowledge of 2007 tax reliefs and industry insight learned at Trump University to invest in profitable properties for her personal investment portfolio as well as clients' portfolios.
New York, NY--At the end of 2007 Florida foreclosures increased over 65 percent but anticipated tax reliefs and reductions in home owners insurance has created profitable investment opportunities for a recent Trump University real estate graduate.
As a tax accountant, Shirnette Blaine-Tarpeh knew the homeowners' tax reliefs for 2007 and reduction in homeowners insurance could result in home values increasing during the first half of2008. She enrolled in one of Trump University's real estate investment introductory class to learn the industry insight she needed to select and purchase the most profitable properties available in the Florida market.
"There were great investment opportunities in Florida foreclosure listings, and I wanted to jump into the real estate game," said Blaine-Tarpeh. "I thought that if I were to learn about real estate, given Donald Trump's real estate reputation, there was no other place to go but Trump University. I had no doubt that by studying real estate investment at Trump University I would succeed because I was learning from the best. And I was ready to succeed."
Since her first real estate investment, Blaine-Tarpeh has helped her tax clients locate single family properties for investments, in addition to helping a local community with its current search for a new church.
"Shirnette was aware of her local real estate market in Florida, and what profitable investment opportunities were available to her, and her tax clients," said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing for Trump University. "She took her tax knowledge and combined that knowledge with the step-by-step strategies she learned from Trump University's experts about investing in real estate. Now she knows how to choose a reliable and profitable investment, and is well on her way to building her own rich portfolio."
Blaine-Tarpeh's next big project is 20 acres of land she currently has under contract, and which she plans on developing for resale. She also plans on utilizing quick cash strategies to flip other properties and invest in a multi-family property for monthly cash flow.
"My ultimate goal is to learn everything I can about the business of real estate not only to be profitable and successful, but because it's becoming a game to me... I am having so much fun!" said Blaine-Tarpeh.

Naval officer teams up with Trump University's real estate investing coach to master the art of quick-turn real estate investing.
New York, NY - Although foreclosures will continue to grow in number, 2008 will go on record as the most opportune year for Trump University students interested in investing in valuable discount properties across the nation. Naval officer, Joseph Erskine, quickly realized that foreclosure homes offer better deals than the regular market, and enrolled in Trump University's Real Estate Investors Training program to learn how to master the art of quick-turn real estate investing. His local Washington marketplace was flooded with pre-foreclosures and as the prices kept going lower Erskine quickly worked with his Trump University real estate mentor to start investing in properties.
After investing in six residential properties, Erskine then worked with his mentor to purchase several other residential properties without using any of his own money or credit. "The powerful negotiating strategies I learned from the Trump University faculty opened all the doors," said Erskine. "Each deal I made used the system of Other People's Monies (OPM). The bottom line was, I did not put any monies into the deals. I walked into each property with tenants and equity already established."
"Erskine moved very quickly toward real estate success by utilizing Trump University's real estate mentors and call-in counseling lines of the Trump Wealth Builder's Network," said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing at Trump University. "While Erskine had the power of self-application and self-discipline he learned in the Navy, Trump University's expert mentor helped Erskine locate properties and negotiate with sellers and buyers. That gave him the knowledge he needed to successfully close his first deals."
"From the beginning the decision to join the Trump University membership has been a great boost," said Erskine. "It's what led me to become part of a fine organization that I know now as a pivotal point in turning my life in a direction of great wealth and opportunity to help others."

Trump University real estate student reinvests profits earned from first two property investments in Trump International Hotel & Tower.
New York, New York -- March 4, 2008 -- After flipping two properties in Utah and Florida, Trump University graduate and first-time real estate investor, Jason Bosch, turned his sights and money on Donald Trump’s Las Vegas, Nevada property Trump International Hotel & Tower.
Realizing a combined $215,000 gain on his first two investments--a duplex in Salt Lake City, Utah and a Florida residential property--Bosch decided to invest in a piece of his role model, Donald Trump, and purchased a condominium at Las Vegas’ tallest residential building, Trump International Hotel & Tower.
Taking his biggest roll of the dice yet, Bosch paid $635,000 for the unit, planning to use it as a luxury hotel rental. A five-star hotel, Trump International Hotel & Tower will attract athletes, celebrities, corporate executives and others longing for luxury accommodations who will be willing to rent the condominium for short and long-term visits while in Las Vegas. “The expected rental rates will more than cover the mortgage payment,” said Bosch. “On average, rental rates for prime Las Vegas properties like the Trump International Hotel & Tower go up, not down.”
Investing in hotel suites is a trend in the United States because of the great cash flows, no concerns about maintenance and reasonable cash requirements as a down payment. “Investing in Trump International Hotel & Tower also made sense because with the city’s rapid growth and the increase in construction in Las Vegas, the property’s value will appreciate rapidly,” said Bosch.
When Bosch decided he wanted to become a real estate investor, he turned to his mentor--Donald Trump--and enrolled with Trump University. “I knew I needed to spend money to make money, but I wasn’t sure where to start,” said Bosch, who had never been afraid to take chances. “When I heard Mr. Trump offered the Real Estate Investor’s Training Program to teach beginning investors, I jumped in. This is Mr. Trump we’re talking about. If he says it is good, I don’t question it.”
Bosch worked closely with his assigned real estate coach who encouraged him to check out-of-state markets for potential investments. Within a few months of beginning the program, Bosch felt confident enough to begin a serious property search, and invest in his first property in Utah.
“Jason had the spirit and risk-taking character that he needed to think and act like a real estate entrepreneur,” said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing for Trump University. “Trump University’s Real Estate Investor’s Training Program gave him the skills and confidence to make wise--and profitable--investment decisions based on knowledge rather than on speculation alone.”
Bosch plans to continue building his investment property portfolio as the right opportunities come along. “I have the confidence to succeed because I know I’ll be able to take advantage of my Trump University training and the support system they provide me,” said Bosch.

Trump University student reinvests profits from first property sale into Daughters of Hope, an all-girls home for career and life skills training for emancipated foster youth.
New York, New York - A former foster youth, Esperanza Hansen realized a life-long dream to help other foster girls learn career and life skills by building the Daughters of Hope off real estate investments made with Trump University’s guidance.
After completing Trump University’s Real Estate Investment Courses, Hansen bought and sold her first investment property for a $54,000 profit. Using a 1031 exchange that she learned at Trump University, Hansen bought the home for the foster youth for $100,000 less than the appraised value.
The non-profit Daughters of Hope provides a home for emancipated foster youth while they go to school or enter the workforce. The Victorian house located in Visalia, California is in the final stages of restoration. Designed to provide a home-like environment, the Daughters of Hope will provide an opportunity for the girls to learn life skills by living with others and taking care of the house.
“I had to struggle when I was growing up, and I wanted to give back to my community,” said Hansen who is a registered nurse. “Not having the funds myself, I decided to get into real estate investment hopefully not only to find the home I wanted for Daughters of Hope, but to make a profit off a sale or two. Then I could reinvest the profits in the girls’ home.”
“Trump University is pleased that Hansen was able to learn the skills she needed to make a profitable investment, and then use the profits to purchase the right property for the Daughters of Hope,” said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing for Trump University. “Today, in the United States, over 25,000 children leave the foster care system with no where to go, becoming homeless. Daughters of Hope is helping by opening the door to a safe, loving home where the emancipated foster youth can grow up and be successful.”
After Daughters of Hope’s home is complete and the emancipated foster youth are settled in, Hansen plans on pioneering an all-male home, and searching for the right property. “Without the grace of God, my knowledgeable real estate coach and the vision of Trump University to empower me with the knowledge and methods I needed to find and purchase the right properties, none of this would have been possible,” said Hansen.

Trump University real estate student invests in pre-foreclosure and helps homeowner pay off medical bills and maintain good credit.
New York, New York- As Arizona’s housing crisis deepens, Trump University real estate investment student Kevin Andrews helps homeowners avoid foreclosure and pay their bills by purchasing residential properties in the final stages of foreclosure.
After completing Trump University’s Real Estate Investment Course, Andrews heard of a local homeowner in Arizona who was struggling, trying to avoid a foreclosure and also pay off high medical bills. The homeowner was overwhelmed with an outstanding $80,000 mortgage and more than $13,000 in medical bills.
“I knew I could sell the house for at least $30,000 more than the $80,000 he owed, and I wanted to do the right thing,” said Andrews, owner of G2G Investments in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
The homeowner accepted Andrews’ offer of $95,000, and after the sale was complete, Andrews put a “For Sale by Owner” sign in the front yard. Thenext day, Andrews received an offer of $115,000.
“Trump University’s Real Estate Investment courses taught me how to create a win-win situation by purchasing a home in the final stages of foreclosure,” said Andrews. “My wife and I made $20,000 on our very first deal, and we helped a struggling homeowner.”
“Investing in pre-foreclosures is not only about the profits but helping out borrowers who are forced to sell their homes and other properties due to job loss, medical bills, a death in the family or another life-changing situation,” said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing for Trump University. “In his first investment, Andrews was more concerned about helping a homeowner who needed to get out of a bad situation. As a result, Andrews helped the homeowner avoid foreclosure, pay his bills, and have some extra funds. Then, Andrews sold the property with more than a twenty percent return on investment.”
Since his first investment, Andrews has helped three other homeowners with pre-foreclosures by finding buyers for their short sales, andhe has invested in four other pre-foreclosed residential and commercial properties.
“Every property we’ve invested in has been done first with the homeowner’s interest in mind,” said Andrews. “We want them to be able to get out of a foreclosure and walk away from the sale with some money to pay off bills or have in their pocket. That way they end up with more than if they let their home or property get foreclosed on by the lender.”

Federal government IT consultant invests in underdeveloped US oil and gas fields after attending Trump University investment introductory class.
New York, NY April 15, 2008 - The record-breaking cost of crude oil and gas has pushed energy companies to begin drilling at underutilized oil and gas fields in the United States, creating a new real estate investment opportunity for Trump University graduates.
While at a Trump University real estate investment introductory class, Gustavo Calderon met other entrepreneurs who he partnered with to invest in underutilized oil and gas fields located across the United States. Oil and gas fields not only provide a return on investment from the sale of product, but also the increasing value of the assets including the land, reserves, and equipment.
The owner of Compass Systems Consulting which supports large-scale United States Federal Government IT initiatives, Calderon wanted to explore other business opportunities that would have a compelling return on investment. He turned to Trump University to provide the industry insight and tools he needed to succeed, and enrolled in key real estate investment courses including Real Estate Executive Coaching, Foreclosure and Rehab Real Estate, and Commercial and Multi-Family Master Training.
“Not only did I sharpen my business focus and gain the industry insight, tools and techniques I needed to be a successful investor, but I also met other investors with the vision to carry out an oil and gas deal that I am now a part of,” said Calderon. “Trump University provided me the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tap into a network of like-minded individuals who also want to be successful entrepreneurs.”
Without counting the steady increasing asset appreciation, Calderon’s oil and gas investment is generating a 5 percent monthly return on investment. Calderon is exploring additional real estate, oil and gas and foreign currency investments, as well as launching new products as an investor.
“Calderon chose Trump University for its commitment to deliver value and provide the best learning environment for entrepreneurs,” said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing at Trump University. “With a burning desire to succeed, Calderon used the real estate investment strategies he learned at Trump University to wisely invest in oil and gas properties that have turned a solid return on investment in a very short time.”

High school dropout turned successful real estate mogul, Troy Holland turns to Trump University to build and promote Holland Residentials, a multi-million-dollar firm focused on redefining luxury living at its upscale boutique hotels.
New York, NY April 3, 2008 -- Holland Residentials, a real estate development firm building luxury hotel home venues nationwide, is the latest organization founded by a Trump University inspired graduate turned real estate mogul.
Troy Holland co-founded Holland Residentials in 2005 with the goal to be the world's provider of the most luxurious, upscale "boutique" hotels. His hotels would allow visitors to enjoy the luxurious lives of the rich and famous whether they were on a business trip or a vacation.
While growing up, Holland watched his mother get laid off from various companies. Holland quit high school not only to work and put food on his family's table, but because he knew he wouldn't learn how to be rich and successful at school. He worked odd jobs for years and eventually became a licensed race horse trainer in and real estate broker in Maryland.
Holland enjoyed real estate, but soon realized his true desire was to own and develop his own properties. After co-founding Holland Residentials, Holland purchased a prime real estate location for the first Holland Residentials hotel. But shortly after his partner walked out of the deal, Holland decided the best way he could learn about real estate development was by enrolling in Trump University's Real Estate Strategies, Marketing, and Wealth Building courses.
"I have always admired Donald Trump and wanted to emulate what he had accomplished as a very successful real estate investor. Enrolling in Trump University marked a changing point in my life," said Troy Holland, Founder and President of Holland Residentials. "The classes at Trump University taught every aspect of closing a deal, marketing your ideas and branding yourself or your product, and it was those classes that gave me the confidence necessary to achieve the great success that I now enjoy."
After completing Trump University's courses, within one year Holland Residentials owned $7 million in luxury real estate.
"Holland Residentials strives to be the premier upscale hotel home venue in the world. Our goal is to be a step ahead of the competition by providing our customers with more service and amenities during their business and leisure time," said Holland. "Our luxury 'boutique' hotels create a sense of 'belonging' for each and every guest. We want them to feel right at home."
Holland Residentials is expanding its portfolio to include luxury boutique hotels in more than 48 major cities such as Atlanta, Georgia; Honolulu, Hawaii; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Washington, DC; San Francisco, California; and Austin, Texas. Its goal is to have locations worldwide by 2012.
"When it comes to reliable investments, real estate investing is the best wealth-builder in the world. Troy Holland learned from Trump University's faculty of successful entrepreneurs and real estate investors the same step-by-step strategies they used to make their millions," said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing at Trump University. "Troy learned the strategy behind executing a profitable real estate transaction, and the importance of marketing the Holland brand for long-term growth and profitability. Now he is living the life he had only dreamed of."

Trump University student combines real estate investment training and financial planning experience to become Idaho’s leading commercial real estate investor
New York, New York -- February 21, 2008 -- Despite the explosion in foreclosed residential properties in Idaho, the state’s commercial real estate holds steady and is anticipated to continue to grow during 2008.
An experienced financial planner, John Hancock saw Idaho’s strong commercial real estate market as an investment opportunity. Since he had never invested in out-of-state real estate, he enrolled in Trump University’s Real Estate Investor’s Training Program to learn the skills he needed to select the right properties for short- and long-term investments. Trump University’s training and support and his financial planning skills helped Hancock net over $50,000 in his first commercial property deals.
“As the son of a successful real estate investor, I knew wisely investing in property could lead to early retirement,” Hancock said. “I had prospered in equity, but was finding it difficult to exact a positive monthly cash flow from my current properties, so I turned to the Trump University Real Estate Investor’s Training Program for help.” With Trump University’s guidance, Hancock learned to research markets analytically, look for and evaluate properties and how to contact agents. He also received guidance on interviewing agents and developing other needed resources. Within just three weeks of completing the coursework, Hancock was ready to apply the lessons learned, with the first step being to find other investors.
“When John came to us, he was already a savvy financial planner. But with the skills and training he received from Trump University, he was able to round out his personal investment portfolio with real estate,” said Josef Katz, Vice President of Marketing for Trump University. “Using the skills he learned in our Real Estate Investor’s Training Program, John knew exactly what to look for when he went to Boise to investigate its commercial real estate market and was able to orchestrate a financially sound deal.”
Hancock found Boise’s commercial market strong and growing with excellent rent-to-price ratios. “I found the property I wanted to invest in, made the decision to move forward with a partner, and netted $15,000 on that first deal without investing a dime,” said Hancock.
Now a licensed California real estate agent, Hancock has gone on to purchase and resell a seven-unit condominium property at one-week’s net gain of $14,000..
Due to Hancock’s great success in the Idaho real estate market, he has become the California sponsor of radio spots promoting Idaho real estate development and will be featured on upcoming Trump University Real Estate Investor’s Training Program tele-seminars.
