I decided to take some Trump University programs because I was tired of the same old routine. I was working 60 hours a week -- including weekends -- running two flower shops, and trying to make ends meet.

It all started when I saw an ad for a Trump seminar called Fast Track to Foreclosures. It looked interesting, so I went to the Trump University website and downloaded all the free downloads. I also purchased The Wealth Builders Blueprint, a six-month online training and phone-mentoring program and attended my first intro seminar.

After my intro seminar, I was introduced to Ted Lignell who showed me some wonderful opportunities that were available in the Law Vegas real estate market. During my three-day mentorship, he educated me about what to look for in home values and precisely how to quantify these values. Within three days of going to Vegas, my first offer on a property was accepted for 40 percent of what it had originally sold for two years earlier. I made a profit of $30,000 on my first deal--a flip property that lasted on the market for only two days!

Additionally, I have continued taking educational courses offered by Trump University which have enabled me to explore alternative opportunities in my own backyard (Los Angeles). I was very fortunate to have Jason, a projects manager at Trump University, recommend Troy Peterson to spearhead my mentorship in the Los Angeles market.

Through Troy’s vast knowledge and experience I was able to make competitive offers on flip properties when others said it was impossible. By the end of my mentorship in Los Angeles, I could confidently estimate rehab costs and offer pricing based on a location without even entering a property!

My Trump University training and the exceptional mentoring I received from Tad and Troy have reinforced my belief that it’s never too late to reach your goals in life. Although the mentorships only involve three days of onsite education, I know I have met friends for life.
